I'm here, had a quick read this morning and been out and about.

Focus, we all know about your mad nut fetish
Sweet, that chicken concoction does sound nice.
I've splurged out on steak for tonight, and i'm having the works with it coz i'm fed up coz of totm, i've come on early which is totally unheard of for me, and it means that the next one will now be smack in the middle of my holiday, and it would have been after the hol, and these days i'm flooding terrible, sorry if thats tmi, but i'm pi***d off!!
Will have to see the doc about getting something to sort it.0 -
Where is everyone
Has my rant driven you all away
Will you come back if i promise to stop ranting and raving:rolleyes:
Ah, i bet you're all on FB instead0 -
lol mazzers, dont think you have driven people away:rotfl:
I'm on day 4 of induction and feeling a bit 'speedy' if that makes sense
I'm powering through though. Have just had 2 boiled eggs mashed up with butter and a small piece of cheese. Will be having pigs in blankets and salad for lunch and bolognaise sauce and salad for dinner.
Hope everyone else is doing ok:AThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Morning Everyone,I've been awol due to misery at TOTM bloating.Mazzer I suffer from flooding too and wonder if its due to my age.Being 44 the old womb etc is getting to its sell by date lol.As for next months period you can get the doctor to give you a course of the pill and this will prevent your period until a more convenient time.I know its messing about with your body but better than having a ruined holiday
I'm having probs with weight loss at the moment and am wondering whether I am eating too much.It cant be carb count cos I only eat them at one meal per day.Does anyone else find cutting down the quantity affects their weight loss?

Yes, we do!! I was in Tesco earlier & spotted a huge bag (800g??) of whole almonds for £3 & I thought of Focus!! :rotfl: I don't buy them, but it said 'Special Buy' so I'm presuming that's a good price. They were in the 'international' section if anyone (apart from Focus that is) is interested.

Hmmmm, twas delicious!!And hubby made it, so even better!!

Awww, that's a bummer!! I suppose if you are early this month, you might be 'lucky' & be early next month & miss having one during the holiday??gunsandbanjos wrote: »I'm on day 4 of induction and feeling a bit 'speedy' if that makes sense
Gonzalez??!! :rotfl:ravylesley wrote: »Being 44 the old womb etc is getting to its sell by date lol.
Lol, I'm 44 as well & my TOTM has been going hay-wire for a while, I was a week early again this month!! I've been reading up on the menopause& it does say that in your 40's you can start having TOTM every 3 weeks!! Oh joy!!

Lesley, you may have reached a plateau as you are so close to reaching your target?? Just a guess, I've never been there so wouldn't really know!! :rotfl:"Where are you all coming from?"
"From Smurf Land where we belong"
Let's all sing along to celebrate G&B's new avatar!! :rotfl:
Anyway, enough madness!! I'm feeling cheery today as I've just had a quick Body Test on Wii Fit & it told me I'd lost 3lbs over the last 3 days!! Tis a minor miracle!! Must be the lack of wine in my diet!!
On a 'bummer' note though, my new big jeans give me a muffin top!!
Ah well, I'm staying positive:wave:

It must be down to age Leslie, i've never had a problem before, my friends keep saying how the heck are you still having periods at your age (nearly 54 ) but i suppose it keeps me from dehydrating
but i will see the doc about having the pill for a month so thanks for that.
Didnt get to have my steak, i was home from an errand too late, and was too tired to chew anyway  i went straight to bed, so will look forward to it tonight.
The boys cooked theirs in my absence, and i was very surprised to come home to all the dishes washed :T
I seem to be like badger these days, not sticking to lc but staying the same weight,
but i do seem to have one day of eating lots and the next day of eating very little, so i suppose it evens itself out0 -
Just remembered,my sis is almost 56 and still has her periods......... fortnightly, oh joy, i cant wait.
Forgot to say to Leslie that when i was being good and not eating a great deal, i lost very little weight. I lost more when i ate more.0 -
My pigs in blankets are in the oven:j I had them yesterday too and they are scrummy, will be having them with salad and either garlic mayo or salsa, cant decide. Its usually a pain trying to find chipolatas with a decent meat content as they seem to be aimed at kids and full of crap, but M&S came up trumps.
You like my new avvie then sweet? I am grumpy smurf:D Kinda missing Richie though:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
