Oooh, if you come home starving, and want something quick, try tuna mayo, spooned into a romaine lettuce leaf (tesco value stay fresh for ages) throw in some chopped onion and cucumber, roll up and eat like a wrap, filling and delish, i just had three, and i'm really full and i've not eaten since 12pm, when i had my brekkie of bacon and eggs.
Also had raspberries and lidl yogurt.

    See, good on work days.

I hate fish of all sorts! But chicken would work just as well.

Another trek down the A1/M1 to Sheffield today for a meeting, and then lunch provided again so will have to be careful there.

Had my coconut oil - found the best way for me is to have it in a mini cup of coffee with a smidgeon of cream - and now about to cook my bacon and egg. Evening meal?? Probably salady type stuff with some of the roast pepper concoction from the other day.

Hope everyone has a good LC day!

    GOOD MORNING :D

Can you tell I'm in a disgustingly good mood today? Could barely sleep last night cos I was full o beans ( I mean energy not heinz ;))

Great lc day yesterday, the coconut oil in water is working a treat - normally by this stage on a lc diet, Im having to adjust my insulin lower, my blood sugar has plumetted ( Im diabetic ) and Im having hypoglycemia, sweats etc. The only difference is the oil and generally having a higher fat-protein-carb ratio. My sugars have been dropping but so slowly and steadily I haven't felt sick yet.

Anyhoo, time to go make some tofu for lunch, have a good day folks :)

    Morning everyone,

i`m afraid that i`ve gained 2lb  bit mad as i`d hoped that another 2 would have dropped off by now as i`ve not cheated and i`ve not been on the scales for several days.

I think that it must be something to do with TOTM which is now around 10 days late  it will eventually appear but i hate not knowing when, i don`t feel anywhere as bloated as i normally do but it`s maddening as i know that as soon as it`s been and gone i`ll start losing again.

Breakfast today will be smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, dinner will be a couple of chicken thighs and tea is chilli that i made yesterday.

I shall have a late breakfast as i`ve changed shifts onto the late ones now for a few days and if i start eating early i never seem to stop so forward planning is the answer methinks :D

I`m off out into the rain now with the dogs for a good soaking, have a good day everyone.

    SD
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    Morning everyone!!

Sunny it might be water retention, sometimes i feel like ive been a complete icing angel yet i put on weight for no reason. I find when i think back its all the hidden salt in food that ive consumed that have made me gain. Drink plenty of water and it should come off within a day or two. :) for me anyway.

Managed to survive day 1 (again) yesterday. Was a struggle though because we had my favourite in yesterday, these delicious white sweet potatoes (and i love them) resisted that which was hard and then my bf was eating a giant Cadburys fruit and nut bar infront of me argh!!! But resisted and feel so much better for it. 13 more days of strict atkins to go. :S

Yum, sounds lovely, hope your 2lb melts away soon, damnably frustrating when that happens isn't it?

    evening all!!

day 2 gone well, sometimes i do crave something i shouldnt but keep thinking of the weight ive put back on recently.

Mazzers a stone is alot so be proud of how much you have lost. Anything is better than what you started with right? :)

Hope everyone is having a great night. x
  • it has been quiet, so I'll chip in!
I feel like I've been pretty good today

I had... bacon, scrambly eggs, and 2 small oopsies for breakie
chicken and mayo, bit of salad and cheese and some left over capenata (italian veggie stuff)
dinner was moussaka which I made, and had a small portion because I didn't want to go over my carbs..... didn't realise it was OWL... woopsie

    I think it'll be ok

Anyway I made the tiramasu but am yet to try it.... I did half my oopsies with a touch of cocoa and splenda and vanilla then soaked them in decaf coffee and layered whipped cream on top with a touch of cocoa sprinkled...

I think it'll be pretty good

I'm not hungry, so I think I'm being low carb enough - mazzers I'm sure if you've been good then its nothing to worry about? maybe you're coming down with something. I'm always starving when I have a cold or something?? or totm?

well I reckon your doing just fine so don't get disheartened....

got bored of bacon and eggs so bought some smoked salmon for brekkie.... mmm
also made some sugar/carb free jelly too, for those need a sweet moment

went to cinema this evening with my father, and watched pelham 123... good film if the ending wasn't a bit too nice!! No popcord, nada!! :D

    didn't even want any..... :)
