Hey everyone. morning :) day 2 went well!! onto day 3 now. Im still tempted to grab a handful of nuts. But i know if i dont i might get rid of that weight i put on alot faster.

Really want to buy some products from the low carb megastore. Seen so many purschase stuff from them but i dont really trust buying online unless its through paypal. :S

I've never had a problem when using a credit card on line - in fact I had more problems with paypal when something on ebay was not as described - never did get my money back. Also never had a problem with low carb megastore, my last big order one thing was wrong - I emailed them and they posted a replacement of the right thing no problem. Of course you could be unlucky but I can't see a credit card online is any more risky than paypal is it?

Never had a problem paying online either.
I use paypal if its available, but as long as its a reputable company, and not an individual, i dont worry.

Mercy, you're right i guess, i am going too long, but i dont want to start eating for the sake of it, done that too many times due to BG ups and downs.
Also the only lc thing in the canteen is an ommelette, i used to take a packed lunch, but cant get organised anymore.
Maybe i'll start taking a baby bell and a pkt of scratchings like i used to icon7.gif

Gers, i find breakfast makes or breaks the day for me too, if i cheat then, i'm bad all day.
I have some yogurt now, just to have something in my stomach, and then i can be lc for the rest of the day.
I usually have some brazils or almonds in my pocket too, a couple of them really stave off hunger and keep metabolism going i spose.

    Hi everyone

i had a bit of a cheat last night and had half a bottle of hobgoblin :o it was hot and sticky and late when i got home from w*rk and it was gorgeous :D I think that it did me some good though and i`m not getting on the scales for a few days.

Focus - I never even thought about hidden salt  thanks for pointing it out.

Gotogal - I have my fingers crossed for the 2lb :D

Brekkie today was smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, dinner was mazzers lasagne and tea was 3 sausages and 1 piece of chicken.

I`m fed up with the salmon now so back to bacon and chuckies tomorrow.

Must dash as i`m still at work.

    Happy losing folks

Welcome to you and your OH! :j

We are a mad bunch who are brought together by the urge to low carb! :rotfl:

Any questions may well be answered, any support needed will be thoughtfully and heartily delivered!

Have you checked out the links on page 1?

There's lots there, including an old and creaky recipe list. Many of the links actually still work!

    What plan are you following?

Good luck and once again WELCOME!

oh brill, I didn't know there were recipes. Not following any plan, just using the Collins Gem book of carbs, and cutting out all sugar, bread, pasta, and cakies. (well he is....but I might cheat) ... :)

    Paying on line

I've never had a problem either for years.

UNTIL trying to book a train ticket on swiss rail. Did it all, booked etc, all in English (which was nice)

Clicked on 'confirm order' or similar then it all went German! BIG red box.

Clicked on turning it back to English and red box had gone - all innocent like.

Have had to talk to my bank about what's gone out etc for last 3 days. Seems there's no money gone out. Phew! Now got to try again. Need that ticket as I have a 2hr train journey after flying to get to Bern to meet mate.

Kinda wishing that easyjet still flew out of John Lennon but news of baggage handlers strike for my flying days has made me feel better :)

Ok, off to do it again :) Wish me luck!

    Update

Bought ticket for train from Geneve airport to Bern!

Told you internet shopping was a breeze :rotfl:

    Yipeeeeee!

Can safely go on hols now knowing I definately have full rights to my 8+ hour journey from sunny Bolton to happy place :rotfl:

Glad that's sorted, can try to relax. There's only the washing, shopping, making sure I have enough flab covering clothes, shopping for and packing food as intend to do lcing while I'm there, managing to be kind to mithering cats, organising the looking after of mithering (but always lovely) cats sorting prezzies and gifts for those who look after cats, making sure I don't forget my knickers or make up

Hey, thought I was going on holiday :rotfl:

well that's not for a week and stress can make one lose, surely :rotfl:

    Big love

Had my yoghurt and flaxseed oil (it's a bit rank but so good for me!) no time for other stuff.

Am away all weekend but hope that everyone keeps their spirits high and their carbs low.
