Morning everyone, ok i was going to take afew days (ok a week) off icing to enjoy my birthday and all the family gatherings we have happening this weekend but the results of the last two days of eating normally have me putting on almost 7lbs :( not happy and my birthday isnt until tomo with alot more family stuff happening until sunday. Do not know what to do. want to be good and get back to icing but then really want to enjoy this week because its only once a year. someone be the voice of wisdom, i need your help :) x

Well, most people that put on, say its only temporary.

But a week is quite long, have a few good days and a few bad, compromise.

Although i had almost a week off, and at totm i was the same weight, (well, actually 1/4lb less, but i think that was dehydration)

You only ever weigh at totm right mazzers? i was thinking of doing that because weighing weekly can be kind of demotivating. :) thanks will do be good today and naughty tomo to even it out x
  • Hello everyone :hello:

Thank you lots & lots for your lovely birthday wishes & virtual birthday cakes!! :D Had a lovely day yesterday, breakfast in bed & then out for the day. Sat outside last night with the chimnea blazing whilst drinking wine & watching the bats - bliss!!

Anyway, will try & pop back later as I have to go shopping for DD1's birthday which is tomorrow (same as Focus, Happy Birthday for tomorrow :D)

Huh, another tip, dont ever reserve anything in b&q, luckily i went straight over early this morning, coz the 'reserved ' item is left on the shop floor waiting to be sold, what the hell's that all about

It isn't reserved at all, and if it sells, they phone you to tell you !!!!!!!!!

What is the point of reserving.. seems no-one knows, well, in my local store anyway.

I do have the odd sneaky peek, but totm is the only true weight for me as i fluctuate so much, i can be several lbs heavier at the end of the day too, but i always ignore it, and go by my monthly weight.

    Afternoon everyone,

busy bee day here today, i opened the fridge this morning to find that there were no eggs left so i decided to do the shopping first and eat later, so far i have eaten.............one sausage

Despite spending the last couple of hours in the kitchen i`ve not done the usual spoon licking but i had to have a taste of the recipe that i was making.

Mazzers i believe that it was one of yours? the lasagne with courgette instead of using lasagne sheets and OMG! it is fab - well worth the effort!
It`s cooling in the kitchen as i type waiting to be portioned up and frozen, thanks very much for posting the recipe :A

I shall have a cheese triangle (years since i had one of those) and some salami before tackling the cleaning upstairs.

For tea later i can`t make my mind up whether to have a burger and some salad or a piece of the lasagne........decisions decisions.

    Have a good day folks

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Just got almond flour biscuits in the oven, added salt and black pepper.

    Will later be having
Bavarian Ham wrapped round brie, savoury biscuits with blue castello (£1! on tesco direct) And a nice italian style salad.

Cannot wait! Just gotta let the biscs cool and I'm there :) Must let the brie come up to room temp... Off to sort the cheese :rotfl:

B&Q (diy.com, if you want a look) has a fab garden chair set, (steamer style) one chair, one leg rest and a side table in white high gloss hardwood was £149 ish is now £44 ish.

Sounds lovely & a really good price BUT every time I try to look at it under garden furniture on their website my lappy crashes!! Oh well, I can't afford it anyway!! Bloomin annoying about the so-called 'reservation' btw but glad you managed to still get it.

So, did everyone get the 123456789 reference in my last post?? Twas 12.34pm & 56 seconds (thereabouts ) on 7.8.09 - saw it on the news just as I was posting - it won't happen again for another 100 years - little nerdy fact there!! :rotfl:

Anyway, I am going to start my low-carb/low-gi thing again on Monday next week!! I am, I am, I am!! Have piled the weight on over the last few weeks & I feel (& look :o) fat, fat, fat!! All my own greedy fat-face doing of course!! Have been eating for England, Scotland, Wales etc etc!! Infact, any country you care to mention, lol!!

So, a meal planning list is to be written & adhered to!! I'm going to start walking again & just generally being an angelic peep :A instead of a miss piggy oink.gif . Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it!! :rotfl:
