Been quiet in here.
I slept right through til 8am, must've needed it.
Mind you, not been sleeping for worrying over the oldest.
Weatherwise, its slightly sunny, so at least its not raining.
Got a large leg of lamb in th'oven, and i am having a lazy day0 -
Morning, mazzers :hello: I'm here!!
Been looking through 'old style' to see where I can make some money savings on food!! With the kids being off school it's costing me a fortune!!
Lol at you talking about the weather again!! For the record, it's a lovely & sunny morning here
Enjoy your lamb today, think we will be having something out of the freezer, not necessarily low-carb or low-gi, but beggars can't be choosers!! :rotfl:0 -
Sorry to hear you having sleepless nights over your eldest
Sounds like he doesn't really know what to do himself. Would he take any notice if you told him what to do?? Made decisions for him?? Sounds like he is determined to move, must be so frustrating for you.

Its not the moving i'm worried about, its the 'skipping' of his furniture
I've tried telling him, but once he's made up his mind it's difficult to get through to him.
And the thing is, when he came to stay a couple of weeks ago, he gave his mate a key to check on his flat and ring him daily to make sure his things were ok, so i know he cant be feeling well to want to throw them out.
I said ask the landlord if he'll buy them, so he can rent it as furnished, but he's not really concerned in asking him.
Just letting him get on with it now.0 -
Wish he lived nearer me, my sofa is falling to bits. He could easily put it on as one lot on ebay and at least get something for it.There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Hey everyone, havent been posting much but doing alot more lurking lol. feel abit quiet and dont have much to say these days just always seem to be moaning about how i stray from the plan. But have been good this weekend, resisted millies cookies (which i love to bits) and cake and also treats at the cinema last night
Its my birthday next week and im debating with myself if i should be good or not. I say it will only be one bad day but it will end up being friday saturday and sunday of bading eating. (i know what im like) but then how can i pass up a piece of my own bday cakeconfused lol
well done everyone on their great weighloss jordy you are doing brilliantly0 -
Afternoon all, I hope you're having a nice weekend.
I wanted to share with you how happy I am on day 6 of the induction. Despite catching my OH's stinking cold (prob not swine flu) I am finding the atkins diet very easy to follow because I am never hungry! I don't feel deprived but I am definitely eating less because I'm not really snacking... its such a revelation!!
I'm not weighing myself until the end of the 2 weeks, because I don't want to feed the doubts at the back of my mind - surely eating eggs and bacon every day is going to make me fat? I hope to prove myself wrong!!
Anyway I know everyone's different but how much did you lose on the induction? I've heard claims of half a stone but I'm sure not everyone manages that? If you don't want to share I understand but it will put my mind at ease if I only loose a couple of pounds initially.....
thanksSPC5 #1651 total so far: £78.590 -
