Its great to be just under the next stone, i have been trying to get below 14 st for ages.
    13 and 3/4 sounds much better than 14 ;)
It would help if i could stick to lc tho.

    And you can, hunni!

    Just do it. :rotfl:

I've actually lost 1.5 lbs since I last weighed. (3 weeks or so) and that includes the illness. However when I felt v ill I craved (probably carbs) Fish and peas. Frozen haddock in breadcrumbs and a tin of mushy peas. I mushed the lot up (once I'd cooked it :))and had it as a soup :) Interestingly at least 150g carb but without retribution. Tasted great and had it about 6 times in as many days. The need was great but the damage wasn't. Maybe because I needed it? It was at least 5x the carbs I'd normally have in a day.

Now I'm well I don't really fancy it anymore :rotfl:

Thing is, I never crave, so don't have, bread, pasta, rice,(they all make me feel like !!!!!!) or tatoes which I seem to be able to eat easily but am out of the habit of buying. so my big carb fests are breaded fish and pulses :rotfl: I do sometimes 'need' chocolate. but not much and if I don't buy it I can't have it.

That is why I do always have in the ingredients for coconut muffins, cococandy and Bakewell Tart. If the urge presents itself I can get on with it without resorting to wheat and sugar laden alternatives.

Kinda thinking this is a way of life, not just of eating :)

Think if I wore an itsy bitsy peeps would only see the top :rotfl:

I prefer a tankini and matching shorts if I'm on display (holds a lot in :)), can always roll up the top when sunbathing, who needs a tanned fani or aris crack? :rotfl:

evening all, welcome back sweets, we all missed you :)

my fridge is empty :( and everything else is not thawed so had to resort to eating whatever i could find. which was a burger patty and some eggs :) was really nice though, gonna stock up the fridge and cupboards tomorrow after work. all this talk about sw i was constantly thinking about my food supplies are bare and i wouldnt be able to survive long if i dont stock up as much as i can now. :)

My botton half aint so bad, its my top half and fat arms that i need to hide.
A tankini would ride up over me belly :rotfl:

Anyway, i've got some new cozzies with tummy control and they look ok-ish.
    Roll on September ;)

Back home again and happy to say that I managed fine whilst away. Had my coconut oil in my hotel bedroom, ordered room service and removed the carbs and managed to get a custom order for the lunches during the meetings.

This morning I've had my bacon and egg and some of that lovely 10% yoghurt with flaxseed oil mixed in. Need to buy some more of the yoghurt today.

Hope that everyone is doing well still? I'm just waiting for the fat to drop off, even drop by drop.

    Morning,

I'm nearly back to my preholiday weight:D Scales were hovering between 8st 8 and 8st 7 :j Did have a blip midweek, tummy was a bit dodgy and all i could stomach was a weetabix. Thats the one thing with this WOE that i struggle a little with. If you aren't feeling great and want something 'dry' what can you have:confused: If i'm ill i usually can only face a digestive or rich tea or a small bowl of cereal.

morning everyone, well done gers for staying on plan and guns for getting back to your preholiday weight :) great work.

I am not a happy bunny right now, the scales were going down and now back up again :@ and ive been a low carb saint for the past 4 days. the only thing i can think it is is that ive been eating alot more soup/clear broth the last two days and feel like its still inside me and not come out yet. I drink alot of water normally anyway but i see it go in and out if you get me :D but the soup hasnt been going out. :( does anyone else eat alot of soup and find that affects their weight loss?
