I upped the water intake yesterday and felt better, not that I felt bad but the increase in water was interesting.
Off now until Friday, 2 days in an hotel so have packed some coconut oil, just not too sure how I'm going to manage to take my second dose whilst attending work meetings. Not taking flax seed oil as there's no way to keep it refrigerated, or even cool. The challenge will make it all the more worthwhile but think that the food part will be relatively easy.
Downward and onward.

PS - I've just realised that I WANT to dance again! :j:j had a 'bounce' around the bedroom when 'Peggy Sue' came on... well, more of a 'heavy sway'... it just sort of happened - I used to love to dance and that love is slowly coming back. Found myself jigging my shoulders whilst driving the other day as 'Alive' was playing in the car stereo. Long lost 'desires' are returning and I'm sloughing off the 'too fat to do anything' way of thinking.
Don't care if I stall or drop 4 stone in a month, loving it all.
I don't mean to be a Pollyanna  but I am really so enjoying the bit by bit lifting of depressing aspects of my life.0 -
Gers thats brilliant, i love how as we are changing our attitudes change and we feel like we can suddenly do anything now
keep it up!!
Really worried about getting the swine flu because its reached work and a couple of people have started becoming ill and off from it. Stocked up on my mulitvitamins and vitamin c but i always worried they affect weight loss. Is this really silly of me to be worried about that? :S0 -

I don't think specific vitamins will stall weight loss. If you are low carbing it's generally suggested that some vitamins are taken to cover you for what you are no longer eating. Atkind and IPD both recommend certain ones but I don't have the books to consult. Sure someone will fill you in on the details.
I am coming to the conclusion that what I had 2 weekends ago was indeed swine flu. I'm about back to normal for a couple of days now. As more information has come out I can identify with the symptoms more.
I have taken 5000 iu of vitamin D for 14 months or more (1200iu for 6 months before that) and I really believe that has helped me not have the effects as badly as I could have done. As well as making it easier for me to tan - not burn

I love OriginsFor my feet I use Aveda's foot relief. It's expensive too, around £16 for 125ml tube, I think, but could be wrong. I havent bought it for years. I always ask for it for birthdays and christmas.
Finally back under the magical 60kg. There is hope that I will get back to my signature weight without drastic measures
I went to a 40th birthday party on Saturday and felt like a fox! I saw people I hadn't seen for 12 years and they said you don't seem to have changed much. I thought you wouldn't have said that if you had seen me lst year!
AND I was propositioned! Definitely a case of beer goggles (on his part) and I turned him down, but still it was nice to have the offer
Well done on the weight loss :T:T:T:T:TGers thats brilliant, i love how as we are changing our attitudes change and we feel like we can suddenly do anything nowkeep it up!!

Starting to feel a bit concerned about SW myself. We're doing contingency planning at work. Its enough to make you up sticks and run away!

Concern is the right feeling, but worry isn't.
I've been going round antibac-ing the shared phones, computers and doorhandles.
I'm pretty sure I've had it - can trace the infection easily through workmates. I do that thing where when I feel 100% better than yesterday I go in work.
I had fallen SUDDENLY properly ill on Saturday at 1pm. After feeling very ok all morning, it was a surprise and very bad very quickly. Had had a sore throat for 3 days but was not expecting such a sharp drop in wellbeing. Hot and cold, sneezing uncontrollably when cold, deep tiredness, achey, bit of a headache, bad guts - all at once! Really not able to do much all weekend. Ate quite well though, but more easy stuff like yogurts, fish and peas, as too manky to cook much else.
I had the Monday off but went in Tuesday. I wish I'd taken Tues off as well as I think a day of just rest would have helped me feel properly better sooner.
But, 'we're shorthanded for other reasons, I had a lot to do, don't like taking time off' etc. If you get it give yourself time to recover properly. When I went back I was just at the very knakrd stage, I wasn't sneezing, throat was much better and I hadn't really coughed much at all. Think I wasn't infectious anymore, but at the time swineflu wasn't even on my radar as MY problem.
My version hit my gutsDidn't know that was a symptom, just thought I had a bug.
If you are generally healthy, don't worry. Get onto the helplines, tell them your temp and other symptoms. They'l authorise a tamiflu etc. One guy at work, his wife had it bad. With the tamiflu she felt so much better the following day.
Will take us all differently, be aware, be careful - hand washing, disinfecting etc. But try not to worry.

A little more ....:rotfl:
I live alone, this can be a double edged sword when you are ill.
I had no one to 'look after' me but equally I had no one to look after.
I spent 3 days without human interaction except when I went to asda for supplies Monday aft.
I think the harder job will be for the parent who has it when their kids have it too.
Make sure your larders are filled with all the good stuff you need for a week, for you and yours. Keep it up. It's only when you need easy prepared meals that you rue the day you didn't stock up.
I am glad I didn't see anybody, I looked awful

Oooh - I was naughty today - DS1 went out and got a huge bucket of KFC and I had to have some - only a couple of breast bits and I picked off the coating:rotfl: I also ate all the sweetcorn cos non of the boys like anything vaguely healthy - it was a bit manky though- well over cooked and squishy:rolleyes:
Had a nice fry up today - just bacon and eggs for breakfast and then I forgot to have lunch which is why I slipped with the KFC!!! Got the munchies now as well so will have a ham and philly roll up in a mo.
Thought DS1 was coming down with SF this week - I had to cancel his Do IT 4 Real but it was only tonsillitus - sigh! I keep forgetting to take my vitamins every morning and haven't weighed myself this week either - another for the to do list on Friday.
Off to Barcelona for a week on Monday so will be eating lots of lovely Spanish Lomo and chicken:D Then off to Brussels in August so MUST avoid chocolate shops and only eat the Moules without the Frites!Noli nothis permittere te terere
