Hello,
I'm here too, just don't have anything to say (for once). Not being very good at the moment so will post more when i can get my head back together. I'm expecting a invasion of Germans soon (OH's family) so am a bit stressed. They're lovely but very time consuming!

Gosh.. isn't flax oil invigorating!! Been taking it for 2 days now and feel like a newborn (fairy elephant, but newborn all the same). For the first time in a very long time I felt the inclination to have a walk. I used to love walking and did it most days - to work and back - and most weekends out in the hills, but as I got fatter it became a chore. Tonight I had the heart and the head in sync and just been out for about 1.5 miles round the streets of my local area, it was FABULOUS!
I really want to continue to feel this good and get even better. Have decided to 'reward' myself with a watch I've always lusted after... :j can't think of anyone more deserving in my house!!
Now got my face lathered in coconut oil (sexy or what?) and ready for a long glass of cold water.
I tried to register on http://forum.lowcarber.org/ but it wanted my height, my weight before starting to diet, my weight now and a few other random pieces of information, gave up trying and just had a good read instead.
I hope that everyone here stays inspired and focussed and is successful.0 -

Hello to all and a Happy Birthday to Serena, I hope you enjoyed your day and it wouldn't be the worst thing ever if you succumbed to a bit of cake!
Also to Mercy for next Sunday in case I don't get back, I enjoyed your work ****-o-meter stories.
I had an accident with my coconut oil, there was some left in the bottom of the pot so I poured some hot water in and swirled and drank. Obviously there was a lot more left than my usual tablespoon because I spent the rest of the day feeling nauseous and ended having to heave out of the car window (I was driving). I haven't been able to face it since. How can I make it taste nicer? Does flax seed oil do the same job?
Regards

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SERENA
Gawd, came home from work so tired, had 5mins on my lappy and fell asleep for 5 hours
Had a good lc day, just a few brazil nuts for brekkie, and nothing til i came home at 3.30 when i had half a cooked chicken.
Just had two eggs and some yogurt for dessert.
Yuk at work for the next two weeks as two peeps are on holiday
I anticipate a stressful week
Thanks for the peanut butter recipe focus, and thanks for the feet info sss, i intent to moisturise mine every day now0 -
I can never be !!!!!d to moisturise my feet every single day:rotfl: Tend to do it every 3 days - I use Origins Reinventing the Heel V. expensive at £18 but it really works - I visit the chiropodist every 4 months as well as my skin gets so hard as I tend not to wear anything on them if I can help it. Tried the new one here called Shuropody but I have to say I wasn't impressed as she only took about 15 mins and I still had bits she had missed, whereas my old one in Brum took at least 30 mins and I could tell that I'd had it done for at least a month! Trouble is , it's a 40 min train trip to Brum - I only went to her cos I went to Uni there for 4 years so I popped in between lectures.
Was ok-ish today but did have a visit to Yo Sushi and I can't resist the vegetable tempura.
B - Greek Yoghurt and berries
L - Vegetable Tempura, Chicken Yakitori, Edamame Beans and Miso Soup(2 bowls)
D - Chicken with pancetta in a cream sauce with stirfried okra, R, G & Y peppers, onions and peas with a touch of curry powder
Snack - small bowl of cashews
More than my 5 a day!!! And who says LC is unhealthy!!!
I went to Bare Essential in Selfridge's to get a new blusher but sales asst was too busy with other customers so couldn't be bothered to wait, so will have to try and find mine online somewhere.
What;s all this about flax oil - have I missed a thread somewhere? I've got the cocnoil but it's just too rank for me - I can only have it to cook mushrooms in for some reason, otherwise I gag and gag! Kids laugh when they see me trying it and call me Lady Mama Gaga!:rotfl:Noli nothis permittere te terere

Try coco candy

I find flax seed oil tastes vile. Worse than coconut.
I make the candies now and then. Nearest to chocolate and very tasty. Good with a bit of peanut butter in too.

Finally back under the magical 60kg. There is hope that I will get back to my signature weight without drastic measures
I went to a 40th birthday party on Saturday and felt like a fox! I saw people I hadn't seen for 12 years and they said you don't seem to have changed much. I thought you wouldn't have said that if you had seen me lst year!
AND I was propositioned! Definitely a case of beer goggles (on his part) and I turned him down, but still it was nice to have the offerMy name is Paula and I am a low carber1/6/08-83kg : 1/5/10-57kg
(Atkins/IPD) 24/1/13 - 69kg! Yikes!

I mix it with yoghurt to mask the taste - that lovely 10% one is perfect. This morning I read more and found that by mixing it with yoghurt or cottage cheese it is water soluble and so gets round the body quicker than first going to the liver.
The only thing for me is that I feel re-energised and happy - I make no other claims!!Flax seed oil is one of the best sources of Omega 3. Cottage cheese is a good source of a sulferic based protein (needed to make the flax oil water soluable and easy for your body to assimilate). This mixture causes a chemical reaction to occur in the body which oxigenates the cells.0
