Love the lilylolo site but where do I click for samples? Never having tried a mineral cosmetic before I feel the sample would be the way to go for me.

When on the site, click on foundation (or any of the tabs) choose one you'd like then click on that. It will give you options of sample or full size.

Top tip. When you think you've got the shade you want, choose one from either side as well, ie darker and lighter. If not sure of shade, try a couple in the middle of the ranges so you can get the colour type you need.

The one either side thing has worked for me as I use the paler one first to remove dark circles and blemishes (not too heavy here, just tippex them out a bit) then use the main shade. If I have (or want) a tan I just add a little of the darker one to give me a face that matches the rest of me

Tis fun and it works. Once you know what you're doing it takes just two minutes to look perfect and natural.

Had my coconut oil and now just waiting my 20 minutes until it's time for breakfast - a bit late this morning but slept really well and long, probably to make up for the loss on Saturday/Sunday.

Hope all goes well for everyone today.

    Morning all.

Mercy - love the boots! and your garden and gorgeous cats. Thanks for the pointers re samples of mineral make up.

Yesterday my son went back up to Reading, this has always been the trigger for huge binges but although I slipped it was only 1 slice of bread(which he was meant to take with him) and butter. Tasted strange as I hadn't had bread for such a long time. Over the weekend I did pinch a potato from his plate but to be honest, wasn't over fussed. I consider this good news.

    Yesterday's menu

    Day 45
B Gammon steak, egg and tomato
    L Section of Port Salut
    D Turkey paprika
S 1 Slice of seeded bread and butter

So today I'm 58 and getting back on the lc woe for life!

I hope you all have a lovely day wherever you are and whatever you're doing (so long as you eat lc).:D

    ps

If anyone could tell me about the fish oil capsules that I should take a la Ted, am on the coconut oil, awaiting the vit D tabs but what strength of the fish oil ?

so quiet on here today. Almost home time, cant wait to finish :) been a good lowcarber today, day 1 almost down 13 more days of hard core lowcarbing to go :D

Does anyone made a low carb peanut cookie before?
    Ingredients:

1 c. Chunky Peanut Butter (or 8 TBS)
    1 c. Bulk Splenda (or 24 packets)
    1 lg. egg
    Directions:

    Mix ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Use a fork to mash cookies into the shape and size you desire.
Bake at 350o for about 10 minutes or until centers are not wet.

I made this on saturday night and omg i fell in love with them. i was only experimenting but they were so lovely. I admit i made mine abit wet but it didnt bother me, it was alittle crunchy and yet so lush. would recommend it. :D

1c. is 1 cup, american measure.
I always worry about the american packets of splenda, don't know how big they are :) I would mix the peanut butter with 1 tablespoon of splenda and taste a little. Adjust as required then add the egg.

I find the american recipes overload on splenda for my taste, do a bit then see what happens. If the cookies are good but not quite sweet enough, make a note and adjust the recipe next time.

Tis trial and error, but should soon become clear :)

Oh, let me know what works well! These do sound lovely.

Once you have a good basic recipe I'd be tempted to add a little cocoa :) but I would!

Me neither, i have had so many problems with tender, sore feet, didnt know what it was, but i now think it was high BG causing probs with the nerves in my feet.
I have had to wear flat shoes for a long long time, and even they hurt the soles of my feet, but it has completely gone now
Must be cos my BG is controlled, also my ganglion has gone again, so it was fluid retention.

Meant to mention, I had a chiropodist appt a couple of weeks ago. She told me to try to moisturise my feet every day. She said that chiropodists think this is as important as dentists telling you to brush your teeth every day.

focus - chin up honey. You know you'll get those 5 lbs off no problem.

mercy - I love your garden. Mine is a bit of a wilderness at the moment. I only moved last year and I'm finding lovely surprises. I found a couple of rosehips bushes on Saturday :D

ETA - I had the butter chicken for tea tonight. Lovely :)

when i was making them did about 3 big tablespoons of peanut butter and about 1.5-2tbsp of splenda with a couple of drops of vanilla essense. baked for about 15 mins, i left the heat on too high so when i checked they were quite brown, next time will put it on a more medium heat but i loved how they were crunchy outside and alittle wet in the middle :D

day 1 is going good so far :)
