    Morning Everyone its been ages since I posted but I have been reading and still LCing.Its Saturday and its my treat day so I'll be pigging out today but I have lost 3lbs this week so feel quite virtuous.No doubt will put 2lbs on today but not bothered as I've had a hard week and need to let my hair down

    Hi Mazzers no I wasnt abducted by aliens mores the pity the weather might be nicer on mars or venus:D

    I've lost 51lbs now officially but did have a big blip at the start as I lost a couple of pounds and then lost my temper with my scales and threw them down the stairs:mad:The new scales weighed me a stone heavier:eek:so I suppose that was justice for being mean to the old ones:rotfl:.So I have actually lost 65lbs but dont really count the 14lbs cos I lost them twice:D

    LCing has become my way of eating now :A so dont cheat during the week so can't see the point in posting as it makes me seem smug.I try to post once a week so I stop and look at what my weight is actually doing and keep a check on it.I've been through the stage where you want it all to be over and go back to normal eating and have realised that I actually quite like LC food and to me now it is my normal food.But Saturdays are like heaven cos I can eat all the rubbish I want and then have 7days to lose the excess:rotfl:This doesnt work for everybody though as some find it hard to get back to LCing the day after

    Even though I dont post I am reading though and laughing at a lot of your exploits:D

    lesley you have done great to lose all that and you have brilliant willpower giving yourself every saturday off. I would love to do that when im closer to goal. right now its painful when i see a gain cos it take so long for me to lose the weight. how long have you been Lcing for to lose that amount? :) wait i just read your sig so you been doing this for a year now? :D great stuff.

    Not got much to report here, think i have to be really careful with my salt/sodium intake from now on because i hate getting water retention. It really annoys me when ive been good that i can still look like ive put on weight for something silly as salt. I ate alot of olives the other day and realise now that because they were so salty it must have messed my body up. Been drinking water like a fish to make up for that though. :)

    Afternoon all!

    Got a bit stressed last night coz had a sore throat & temperature and started to feel achey (I hate being sick) but this morning woke up feeling fine again. weird. I was almost hoping for the pig pox coz that's the only thing that could stop me eating.

    Wow, some of you guys have lost loads. I am v jealous. OH said I have lost weight but the scales say I am the same weight as before. I've even started to do the dance of the scales (you know the one, you take off all your clothes, suck in the belly and balance precariously wondering which position makes you lighter) but to no avail. Scales are evil. My mirror must be lying too,that lump staring back at me -who looks like a fat version of my mother- cannot possibly be me. I am sure the lard fairy must be visiting me in the night and rubbing butter into my thighs (or carbs!), Im sure they weren't like that yesterday!:o

    The strawberries in our garden are ripe now and they are soooooo gorgeous. Just had some for brekkie. LC and money saving.

    hehe marrow i know the scale dance well, thought it was only me that did silly things like that :) too warm here today making me really uncomfortable. Wish there was a breeze to cool me down.

    im trying to redo the atkins induction for 2 weeks, it be a week tomo ive never been able to last the full 2 weeks without eating something thats not allowed. whether it be a handful of nuts or something else low carb like berries. :S apart of me really wants to do atkins properly but its so hard when the nuts are calling out to be. argh!!!

    Just how much cr*p do you actually eat on a Saturday tho :confused:

    Breakfast is the worse time for me, am sick of eggs and bacon etc, on workdays tho, i just take 5-6 brazil nuts with me and it keeps me goin til lunch, so i think i might start having a nutty breakfast from now on.

    Was dreading today as my young advisor :rolleyes: is on his hols, but had a great day, and it was rather calm and peaceful :rotfl:

    Am really tired, so time for my nap :o

    Mazzer if you want to know what I eat on a typical Saturday here goes

    B: Banana,Crunchynut cornflakes and milk,Toasted hot cross bun and 1 slice of toast with peach jam

    L: Chips,Hollands meat pie,peas and gravy with 2 slices of bread and butter. 1 Jam donut and some biccies for pud

    T: Ham sandwich,Choccie bar and some biccies

    Plus the odd sweetie I nick off the kids:o

    By the end of the day I am stuffed and I've eaten everything I feel like I've missed out on all week and I'll probably gain 2lbs that I will have lost again by Wednesday at the latest.I then usually lose another pound between then and Saturday.I've only eight pounds to go till I hit target and in no great hurry to get there but I dont want to gain back.I find the Saturday binge works for me as it keeps me on the straight and narrow for six days

    For brekkie I either have yoghurt and berries,4egg omelette or bacon,egg and spam I love all of them so dependent on time I dont mind which I eat

    Hmm Leslie, You've certainly hit on a winning combination.

    Am wondering if i should try it.
    Years ago, when dieting, i always kept Sunday as a gutsing day, and it worked at the time.

    You are probably keeping your body on its toes too, so to speak, y'know, not giving it chance to get so used to a way of eating that it stalls you.

    All i can say is Hmmmmmm.
