I think it must have been water, jpretty. I've had the same thing this week - I totally binged last weekend and weighed 9st 13.5lb on Monday morning. This morning I'm 9st 7.5lb. My body shape hasn't changed over the last fortnight and I reckon only about a pound of that gain was fat, the rest being water clinging to the carbohydrate that was stored as glycogen when I overindulged in the naughties. :)

Hope to be back to 9st 7 tomorrow morning (where I was two weeks ago ), and will try to be v good this week and lose some more.

Sounds like you had an eventful evening, Badger! Hope you don't live far from the station if you walk home so late on your own. (Sorry, the mother in me is coming out :o)

Mazzers, have you turned into an owl? :)

    Morning all. *waves*

I had a weird day yesterday. Didn't feel all that hungry so my intake for the whole day consisted of :o ....a packet of out of date peanuts, 2 slices of cooked chicken and 2 glasses of wine. I felt like I was 18 again. I was legless when I went to bed. :rotfl: The family were scattered about yesterday so there wasn't actually a mealtime iyswim. I may try to leave today's eating until after 6pm so that'll be me started on the IF but I'm leaving that open for now in case I end up ravenous at noon. :D

Weigh day is supposed to be tomorrow but I sneaked a look this morning and I lost another pound so that's exactly 2 and a half stone I've lost since January. I'm actually getting a wee bit excited about losing weight now. At the start it all seemed too much to be do-able but it seems more achieveable and in reach now. There's no way I'm gonna be Twiggy when the sun comes out, I've still got shedloads to lose, but I'm certainly gonna look and feel a whole lot better. :D:D:D < feels a bit like that this morning.

 ...mmm what's that they say about pride and falling? :rotfl:

Anyway, have a good day everyone. Well done to those who've lost, Badger...these things happen when you have a life :D and mazzers....ditto HC's owl comment. ;) :rotfl:Sweet...you having a long lie today? :D

That's an amazing loss since January, Aliasojo. You've done incredibly well! :T:T
  • Good morning all :hello:
Was getting all confused this morning with times as when I first looked at this thread the post times hadn't changed to BST although my laptop clock had the correct time on!!
Anyway, I woke up with a belly ache this morning so feeling sorry for myself. I'm blaming the hubby as he made dinner last night - we actually had burger (without the bun) & fried onions & mushrooms instead of the chick so will be having the chick tonight.
Jpretty, that reminds me again of how I should be getting myself to the Swimming Pool :o I have an old cossie somewhere with support panel in the belly region :o It really is old-fashioned & hideous but might try it on just to see what it looks like. I won't report back though!! :rotfl:
MoonRose, that is awful that you are in so much pain & discomfort, hope you get it under control soon.
Mercy, HC & Daisy - that ribeye steak sounds really yum, will have a look out for it now I know how to cook it!! :D
mazzers & badget, how can you both stay up so late?! I was yonked out at 10.15pm last night, just felt really tired, you are both night-owls!! Twit-twoo!!
Welcome back ames & hello to Tinsley. :hello:
Think that's everyone covered!! Lol!! Apologies to anyone I missed!!
Well it's a much nicer day outside so have put some washing out & more washing in the machine. Not sure what I'll be doing today but may go for a wander on the beach as hardly any wind.
    B - 3 cumberland sausages & fried mushrooms
    L - egg mayo & coleslaw
    D - chicken/mozz/bacon & cheesy leeks
Have a good day everyone. :D

Where did you pop up from?! You were'nt there when I started my mega-message!!
Congratulations on yet another lb off!! :T
Not expecting to lose this week (so I won't be disappointed, honest  ) when I get weighed tomorrow.
Been drinking Bailey's for the last couple of nights (& bl00dy enjoying it btw!!) & also eating a fair few S&V peanuts so will reap what I sow!! :rotfl:

    2 'ready-made' for £5.
Don't think it would be hard to reproduce your own version but they are handy to have in. :o

Dont forget sweet, it's all relative. :D I would never have lost all that if I wasn't big style overweight to start with. ;):D

Ok...I know it's a bit late in the day to ask this.....but what exactly are S&V peanuts? Loads of you eat them but I dont think I've seen them. What's the S&V short for? Or is that just the name?
