    Well!

I'm v impressed with Tesco delivery :) I got all I'd ordered but with 1 substitution. The cat food! My whole reason for ordering :) I ordered many 12 packs of kitecat in jelly but got 1 as tescos in gravy. My cats are funny creatures - well, they're cats. But since when did jelly equal gravy? Tescos in jelly I'd've taken :)

That said the guy was early and I was in.

Am on the whole well pleased and will join the ranks of 'modern people' with pleasure :rotfl:

Feeling old but capable. He was only 12! (well maybe 20)

    Hey girlies!

    Quick question.

I've got rib eye steak defrosting in the sink. Any best way of cooking that? It's a whoops bargain (£4.77 / £1.33:rotfl:) and I'm a bit non plussed. Have green beans, salad etc but don't know the best way to cook the steak. Any suggestions?

Oh dear. The fine weather has brought out the nutters. (shouting, drunken pillocks in back street, spose it's cheaper than the pub :rotfl:) Hope it gets cold enough to drive em undercover again. :rotfl:

    Big love

I've never cooked a ribeye steak specifically, but I cook sirloin a lot. I heat a frying pan with a knob of butter and a drop of oil and fry it for a few minutes each side. I eat mine smothered in Stilton sauce :D

    Thanks ladies!

Well that's how I'll do it then :) Nice to have a consensus.

    Am looking forward to it.

My omlette has in it's many ingredients some chicken that was prevoiusly a roasted one. Will it be safe overnight or are the cats getting a treat? (thinking I may have to pick out the chillis)

Actually I had one little girly cat called Cheech. She used to pick out the chillies from a pizza and eat them - leave the cheese. Don't think Newt and Sherlock share her wierd tastes tho :)

As you may have guessed - Cheech lived fast and died young :( Heyho, she was happy and inventive. I 1ce saw her take a std sausage roll, slit it lengthways and steal the sausage! Her Mum at the time said 'there's no point shouting at her, I don't want it it's been on the floor' Great kitty. I'd give many sausages to still have her :rotfl:

Well, I'm off out tonight - some old friends from England are coming up so we're going for an Italian sit down followed by a few drinks (think I might steer clear tonight!). I'm feeling really skinny today, do you ever get that feeling? Haven't weighed myself for a while so must remember to check in the morning...

Hi all, not long got in.

Twas me who keeps omelette overnight in fridge, is just as nice next day in micro.

Badger, i get skinny days and know before i weigh that i have lost but also get bloated ones (for no reason) and know i'm gonna be heavier.

I think if you do IF and each twice as much you wont lose weight but will get all the health benefits as it is the going without food that is the key to improving health.
It seems as though you can have a few small meals or one or more larger and seems you settle into having less as badger said. (And also save time and money)

I did it.. went all day in work with only water and black coffee (not nice) and wasn't really hungry. Now i'm only able to do this cos of the LC otherwise i'd have eaten my own feet..:rotfl: Is easier than i thought it would be.

Bought a cumberland sausage to eat on way home but only had half and had some cheese and both legs off a cooked chicken when home.

Actually, i havent gone long enough as i had two scrambled eggs at ten last night and shouldnt have eaten after six last night but only decided to try this morning.

    Basically
LC = steady blood sugar, so no hunger pangs
Carbs = highs, then lows in blood sugar so = hunger pangs

The most potent stimulus to eat is low blood sugar

By the way hi to vik.

Sweets, i have often wondered what shykins avvy is too, :rotfl: just cannot make it out:confused:

Angel (or is that angela?) my cross trainer was only £33 so no 'extras' it does count cals, time and distance tho. the resistance doesn;t seem to make much difference.
Bought second hand to see if i'll use it and if i do wont mind getting a good one.
Really enjoying it at mo and gives a good smooth workout.
