Been reading the GI diet book thing and it seems much less restrictive, but I doubt it would be good to loose weight. I suspect it is more for keeping blood sugars level.
Ate my ratatouie with a small portion of brown rice (as is allowed in GI) and already I feel so bloated I could pop! Think I'll stick to Icing (while keeping an eye on the GI-ness of the food).
The little kitten is black, with a hint of tiger stripes. He's part Bengal, part siamese part mog. Would post a pic but don't know how. (bit of a technophobe -considering I worked for a computer company). OH wants to call him Bernie but I think that's a bit boring. If we had had a kid he wanted to call it Siegfried - it must be a German thing!!
Planning to be good tomorrow,
B: fruit & yoghurt
L: Scan bran with peanut butterAubergine parmigiana (if Aubergines aren't too carby)
Nighty night all. GP appt tomorrow mornin' so need to get some beauty sleep."I am not a vegetarian because I love animals; I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown0 -

Glad to hear you've got another wee kitten marrowgirl, my daughter is getting her second kitten soon and she's trying to persuade me to take one of her brothers, Im not ready to get another pet yet, I still come home sometimes and expect my dog to still be here.
Hope you had a good birthday Gaye, I'll soon be joining you in the big 50 in January  TBH its not bothering me that much about being .....that age...... but I'd like to be a wee bit....ok a big bit slimmer. Im not having a party Im planning on a week long of celebrations:D
I dont think Im eating enough though today was
B only one lonely egg in the fridge (boiled)
L 2 slice of edam cheese and 1/3 of garlic sausage sliced

Hey all,
Sorry it's been a while - I've had a little catch up on all your stories, hope you're all doing OK! Thanks for the comments on my little video, I became a minor celebrity on the Isle of Man for a while there, most amusing!
I also spent an entire week living on:
- Mars bars, snickers, animal biscuits, turkish delight
- White bread rolls with honey
- Irn Bru, ginger beer, Relentless energy drinks
Guess what? Weighed myself this morning - exactly the same, 10st 13lb.
So, as soon as I run out of Mars Bars (tomorrow), it's back on the low carb for me to see if I can't start shifting some weight again! If this hasn't kick-started the metabolism, I don't know what will.
Oh and PS I've bagged myself a man. And he's a good 'un.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Having said that, you have just reminded me that I do still have some of the M&S offer wine in the cupboard, might just go & sneak a glass before bed ........
Almost all my budget went in one fell swoop yesterday, but i did go to Aldi, Asda then Tesco, i wont be needing to go again tho as the cupboards are bulging, and i still have £8 left for bread and milk through the week.
The wine wasnt in the budget as i have doubled up more clubcard vouchers.
It's funny how you resent using more cash but will stick any old amount on your card.
Thats probably the reason why so many people are in debt today, we stopped using cash!!0 -

Glad you got yourself a new kitten Marrowgirl. He sounds gorgeous, i'm very jealous! If you want ideas for names mine have been called - Mac, Murphy, Bobby and Dexy.
Had a bad day yesterday, good friend i've not seen in ages came over and brought cake, would have been very rude not to have any:rolleyes:
Today
B - Cheese and nuts
L - Homemade bolognaise and salad
D - Tarragon chicken and saladThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Mini, you will need to be eating more, i dont eat enough ( until i do high carb, then i cant stop ) and it does stall you.
Since using fitday, i'm shocked to find how little calories i'm consuming and we all know what happens then, starvation mode.
I dont get hungry either and go far too long without eating, yesterday i was up at 7am and had a coffee, then moseyed about until i went shopping, so didnt eat until i came back at 12.30pm when i had bacon, eggs and sausage.
Went to work, wasnt hungry in work and didnt eat until i came home at 8.30pm, ended up being so hungry i had some mazzers bread while cooking and had too many carbs then
I wouldnt mind if i was still losing but i haven't this month
I must get my act together on work days.0 -

No wonder you were dancing!! :rotfl:0 -
Good morning all :hello:
Tis another grey, miserable day here, boo hoo!!
I'm planning on blitzing the garage today, eek!! It's full of junk & is actually quite dangerous to walk through because there's so much stuff lying around!! Kids go looking for things & leave everything strewn around, hubby just dumps anything he can't be bothered to deal with  No wonder I'm stressed!! Clutter is bad for your health!!
*breathes deeply to calm down*
So, I'm in all day & I'll just take my time & bag decent stuff up for the charity shop, that's the plan anyways.
Hope everyone doing ok today :wave:0 -
