:j just resisted chocolate :j
:rotfl: Well done.
I find breakfast the hardest meal of the day, have resisted toast every day,(more difficult cos i'm making it for my sons every day) but hope i can have the odd slice when i'm on maintenance.
My MSE posts have gone really small, is it just me? I have been fiddling to try and sort out connection probs, so could be that. let me know plz. Also downloaded IE8 so may be that.
Little bit heavier this morning (said yesterday i felt bloated) only a fraction tho.
I know i said i'm not weighing but i just had to
Am going out tonight, a very rare event me going out, so will be having a drink. Dont think i should weigh for a few days then!!
Not having a meal though so will only be few vodka and slimline tonics or wine.
Really looking forward.0 -
I know i already mentioned the cheesecake but it is so lovely, i like the lemony-ness of it, think it would be nice without the base (will cut down on carbs) just as a creamy lemony mousse. Gonna try that today. Also going to make the muffins ready for tomorrow as i always want something sweet the day after drinking.
Like the weight loss theory alias :rotfl: will have to see if it works for me.
It is sad to see folk leave the thread, i didnt mind a bit of bossiness, i said so at the time,
someone threatened to slap me and it really made me laugh, no offence was taken as that is my kind of sense of humour..
Off now to cook a bit.
Just checked and not as deeply in ketosis as usual so could it be the almonds in the cheesecake base?? did have a few macademia nuts too. will have to watch the nuts.0 -
Shykins come back! I neeeed you, and I'll miss you loads! (though you probably don't 'know' me, I found your posts super helpful.
Anyway, I'm off on my jollies on Sunday and I'm miserable! I'm so worried that I'm going to go off the rails- its 2 weeks all inclusive. Sounds great? No way- imagine all those fruit smoothies, slush puppies, trays and trays of cakes and puddings, homemade ice cream....... need I continue?
DH says i should have 2 weeks off and start again when I get back. I'm so torn as to what to do!July Win: Nokia 58000 -
Really HC? We probably won't be going back to the Carribean for sometime so I want our last time to be good and not worrying over food all the time. I'll stick to water, diet cokes and salads as much as I can. Thanks for that :0July Win: Nokia 58000

Just back from Dr. & yes, daughter has conjunctivitis.
Been given viscous drops to put in. May be able to go back to school tomorrow if eye looks any better.
Have had 2 other bits of bad news this morning so not a great day so far.
Well done paula on resisting the chocolate!!
mazzers, have a great time tonight, tis good to let your hair down once in a while!!Your posts are normal size to me btw!!
ethansmum, I would agree with HC, as long as you don't pig out on naughty things then any gain will probably be water & be off again in a couple of weeks if you re-start l-c after your hol. Just enjoy your hol & think of us, green with envy!!0 -
Green with envy is right :rotfl:
Well, not done any cooking or cleaning and my bed is covered in clothes as i've been trying on for what seems like hours.
Now pay attention.. you dont hear this from me very often (if ever) my clothes dont fit.......
They are too big..
Am so chuffed, only nine pounds but as i'm not bloated anymore it makes such a difference. Have dropped almost two sizes and best of all i've lost off my top half (and i dont mean boobs) which normally i dont.
I have new jeans to wear, that were tight when i bought them, but my casual tops are too loose.
Might have to get something new;)
So lets not forget, the scales might not be showing much but its the measurements that really count..
Duh... have just realised why writing is so small, before dowloading the latest Explorer yesterday i had made all fonts everywhere bigger so are now back to normal.:o0 -

Thanks alias, will try drinking water only for a while. Im feeling quite bloated and havent lost so I decided to measure myself and there is no difference hardly  Foodwise I havent been overcarbing but I have been having coffeemate in coffee, theres no carb count on jar. Have decided not to make the muffins either and be really strict for the next week.
Its a bummer when you cant get sleep, sorry I cant offer any advice as Im not a great sleeper and quite often turn night into day. Hope you can get things sorted out as its no fun lying in bed with your mind going like a steam engine. Someone once gave me a bag of "worry dolls". Wee matchsticks and you're supposed to give them your worries every night and leave you with a clear mind :rotfl: but I never tried them.
Thats a shame sweet, hope she is better soon.
Enjoy your night mazzers and ethansmum have a great holiday and dont worry overmuch about breaking the diet.0 -

Wish I'd read your post before that Tunnock's Tea cake jumped into my mouth!!
See now, i dont do that, you naughty girl. (But you have been bored stuck in with poorly DD)
Seriously, i dont really cheat, before i think of doing that i have something else thats kind of allowed in small amounts but i have a bit more, is better than having something totally banned.
As i've said before preparation is the key for me.
And i also visualise all that sugar swirling around in my blood, then my body releases insulin, which collects it and stores it for later... as fat on my belly!!
With that in mind i am gonna whip up a few SF meringues ready for tomorrow just in case:rolleyes:0
