Ok, so Nandos is not a restaurant thenTold you I led a sheltered life!!
Had a look in co-op to see if I could see piri piri but couldn't find the herbs & spices aisle(presume that's where it would be) so will look in Mr. T next time I'm in there.

Nandos is a restaurant, they also sell some sauces etc in supermarkets though. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

yes it is a restaurant, some of the supermarkets sell the sauces to marinate the chicken in. but alot of them sell the herb/spices of them which you can mix with olive oil. ive brought it from asda/sainsbury and tescos in the past0 -
Focus, if you want bargains go to the supermarkets at about 8pm when they do the reductions, my local store seems to have regulars waiting, but you might get killed in the rush. i never wait, i leave them to it, last week fresh chickens were going down to 69p but people will just grab at them, its not a case of share them around, its smash and grab, i even head one fool whisper to his wife when i happened to walk down the aisle, 'quick, get in closer'.
Like i was gonna rush in and steal them.

Was only teasingWow, you must like your holidays hot, hot, hot if you going to Portugal in August?!
Hubby would like to go there but there's no way I could consider going there in August, far too hot for me!! All my fat would melt!! Actually, maybe that's not such a bad idea then?!
Do you have sardines when you go there?? As well as the piri piri chicken of course!!0 -
Where did my post go? Was it something I said?? I'm sure it was incredibly witty and spelt wrong.
Well, where was I?? I can't remember what I wanted to say. Must be old-timers disease.
I tend to stick to the berries when I can but they can get v expensive. I tend to eat the odd banana when my sugar is too low (I was sick this morning coz I didn't eat early enough -and before you ask -no I'm not preggers....I hope:p). I am addicted to satsumas though so expect come chrimbo time I will fall off the wagon spectacularly and be found immersed in a bag of the citrus lovelies. When I was a kid I was sent home from primary school as the school nurse thought I had jaundice. In fact I had just eaten waaaaay too many satsumas and other orange food and it had turned my skin yellow!! I had a bit of an orange fixation as a child. Never had a cold til I was a teenager though!
It was soooo lovely this morning but getting a bit chilly now. Have no excuse for not cooking tonight because it is too hot now.
Going for a walk to collect my car from the garage. Its been there 2 weeks  so I've been walking everywhere. Hope that's given the old weightloss a kick this week.
