    Smee again!

Hello to all the new posters! Hope you like it here. Tis a mad and wonderful place :D

mazzers - re vitamins, get a tablet organiser (pound shop, home bargains?) and make it up for the week. Then put a reminder on your phone every day to take em :) I also put a reminder on my phone for re-filling :D

sweets - hope your nose feels better soon, have you tried putting a small amount of vaseline up your nose? Just coating the interior of your nostrills - not blocking em up entirely :rotfl: This is supposed to catch pollens so they don't get in further to mess with your head.

alias - comiserate with the indoor work to be done. I'm off for an adventure in the junk room. Want to grow tomatoes in the window but have to create a path to the window first :o

Am first giong to make mexican fudge for party tomorrow, using chillis and spring onions. Should be a taste sensation!:j

Have a lovely afternoon and evening lovely people!

    Big love

    Hello everyone :hello:

Just a 'quick' post from me as I'm just about to [STRIKE]stuff my face[/STRIKE] have a BBQ!! :D

Scarborough was great yesterday, very busy but it's such a lovely traditional seaside town it's to be expected. Had 2 tsps of out-of-date (by 18 months!!) Piriton & that seemed to do the trick as no sneezy nose at all!!

Hiya Mercy, might try the vaseline up the nose idea if I start feeling twitchy again!!

Btw, have you tried Pear cider?? I like the sound of it, apparently you can get it cheap in Home Bargains.

Hello to all the newbies  Lots of Scottish peeps on this thread *wonders if alias is on commission??*:rotfl:

No sign of mazzers today - tis Saturday so presume you working - poor you on a day like this - hopefully you off tomorrow & forecast is for more lovely weather. :D

Well, I'm off because my stomach thinks my throat has been cut, I'm that hungry!!

Love to all, red wine & burgers here I come!! XX

    Hello Icers!

mini- I had Gallstones. Nightmare. I'd lost 4 stone with slimming world, nearly at my goal weight and apparently this was some of the problem as with losing the weight there was lots of fat &stuff in my blood which made the gallstones worse. This time I am taking it easy losing the weight as it was because the weight came off too quickly apparently (i piled it all back on coz I had depression and then PCOS so now it doesn't come off quick anyway!). I was eating low fat at the time and still got those horrible pains, but apparently fatty or spicey foods can make it worse so you are right to limit them.
Sweets -I've tried pear cider, its scrummy! OH loves it too.

Its been a gorgeous day here is sunny Dorset. Been out & about and no hunger pangs. Quite pleased with myself as have gone in a notch on my jeans. Wondered why they felt funny when i put them on then realised it was because they were loose. That's not happened in a while!

    todays food:

a bit of bran for brekkie with berries.
    snack- cashews
    Dinner -stirfry.

not v low carb but ok for me. Not that hungry so portion sizes quite small.
Just had some blackberries from the fridge, sooo lovely!

    ciao!

    Hi
I have decided to stop lurking & join as well. I was going to start Celebrity Slim, but £32 for starter pack then £24 per week was too much money. I have PCOS and find losing weight very slow and therefore disheartning. Had bad chest infection 10 weeks ago & decided to quit my 40 day fag habit, haven't had a ciggie since. Today I got low carb shakes from Tesco @ 99p each & a set of scales (15st 2lb) and todays menu was:
    B Vanilla Shake
    L Strawberry Shake
    D Chicken Salad
Snack - Kiwi, Cheese, Small packet peanuts
    Drank 2lt water
I know this isn't True low carbing but having the shakes for breakfast & lunch stops me thinking about food I only have to think about dinner & 3 snacks a day. It is Celebrity Slim's method except that their shakes are £1.99 each.
Can any one say whether they think this is going to work or not.
I also went for a walk around the park & intend to do this every day.

evening everyone, dont even know when the last time i posted in this thread was as ive totally lost track of time and date lol. anyway the last two days ive been eating out and still doing icing which is great :) went to a streak house sort of like frankie and bennies and had some chicken breast with grilled veg :) someones bday party so couldnt really say no. Then yesterday my friend was not feeling great and was terrible down so we did some retail therapy and then went and had something nice to eat, i had a omlette with lots of ham/pepperoni in it which was lush.

Today i wanted to just relax in front of the tv and do nothing and i ended up eating loads :( all icing friendly but i think i ate too much of everything lol. my biggest problems is snacking on nuts :( i just really love them and once i start i cant stop but this has to stop cos i know this is what is making me not lose more. Also when i went shopping today saw some lovely cheap strawberries so grab some and brought some cream with it. This was my dessert (first sweetish thing ive had in nearly 3 weeks) was lovely but definitely not having that again. i think i ate enough for 3 people today, tomo has to be better :) night all.
