Coconut oil will certainly help with any blockages as well!

I started supplementing all of my butter/oil in cooking with it and haven;t had any ill effects but I know some people do get an upset stomach with it.

I got my 10Kg from coconoil this morning. I did have some of the cheaper stuff from the Indian shop, but it's awful to cook with, spits continually.
Sorry you'll find the coconoil is the same. I've had to invest in a splatterguard and make sure I've got lids at the ready before I start breakfast.

I thought it might not be so bad, the one I bought from H&B was much better.

    Morning everyone

I'd like to come out from lurkdom and join the thread.......I'm the lady who thought you were all devouring Icing Sugar:rotfl:

Wee bit of background, if thats ok. I started low carbing at the end of April beginning of May. For the first week I felt brilliant and found it very ....I wont say it was easy, but I found it very acceptable...

I used to devour bread and cheese and the giant packs of crisps that used to jump into my shopping trolley , well who can say no to them !!!!

I can now say NO, I've not had a bit of bread and no cheese and onion crisps have passed my lips since the beginning of May:rotfl:

However, one night after making a cheese sauce from full cream and Cathedral City cheese, yum:D.....I had a very bad attack of biliary colic and ended up having to phone NHS Direct and had to go to hospital for pain relief,

Turns out I've got 2 large gallstones, blood tests also reveal my ferritin and haemoglobin levels are extremely low

So am trying to low carb still but have got to careful that I don't eat too much high fat that will aggravte my gall stones.

I dont want surgery for my gall stones and I dont want to take iron tablets for my blood levels so am going to try and improve my diet.

Sorry for the long post and again hya to everyone

Morning all. :) Beautiful day here again, so tempted to just get the chair out the shed and plank my bum for most of the day but still got things to do so can't unfortunately.

My Mum had gallstones mini...I remember her being crippled with the pain of them one night and got rushed to hospital, we had no idea what was happenng as she was never one for being ill, she was always a tough sort iyswim. She said the pain was worse than childbirth, so I sympathise. Well done for ignoring the lure of the crisps though. ;)

OH sat with a huge bag of sensations crisps last night and not one passed my lips. Yay! An acheivement. :rotfl:

Crisps aren't my thing really, always been able to take/leave them, but now I hardly have any snacks if OH brings out a pack of sensations I tend to eat a huge handful of them watching the telly.

    Yesterday
    B/fast - 3 egg omellete, with chopped pepper.courgette.cheese
Lunch - slice cheese and about 4 slices of ham
Dinner - some type of really mancky fish from the freezer (rest going into bin) with cauliflower and small amount of carrot.

Don't always have dessert but had full fat yogurt with some frozen blueberries.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

    Morning all

Another lurker who has decided to take the plunge :A

I'm about to start the Bodytrim system which is based on lcing. Its an Austalian programme which has just been launched in Europe. I'll be doing it with my Mum and Dad as my brother is getting married 5 weeks tomorrow :eek::eek::eek::eek: We all need to lose loads of weight.

I live on my own with my DD who is nearly 16. My lovely BF is here at the weekends (he lives in England) and Mum and Dad are very nearby. I lost 2.5 stones a few years ago with Scottish Slimmers, but put it all back on when I met my BF. He is a very bad influence on me

I will be 40 in August and I just dont want to be fat anymore. I'm sick of it.

Look forward to getting to know you all. You seem to be a nice crazy bunch, just like the flyladies ;) Hi G&B

    Hello lovely people!

Weather is wonderful (for once) in Sunny Bolton! Managed to do all shopping and still use an hour in the sun of the two hour opportunity I get in the back.

Got a lovely pair of beige linen crop trews (£2.25) and a nice turqoise Dotty P top (£1.99) Ideal gear for barbeque at Mum n Dad's tomorrow in celebration of little bro being 24.

    Imagine my glee! :j

Had half the omlette I cooked last night for breakfast. Was really good. I like it cold day after. bit like crustless quice. If you make the mix so stiff with veg, cheese etc the egg is just there for glue :) So you don't get the 'day after' egg feeling.

Am lining up some chinese ribs with mayo and salad for this evening.

I've had a couple of ciders and have to admit that sunshine combined with cider does feel like heaven to me :rotfl:
