    I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack and soooooooooo fat!

I've gained a whopping 6lbs apparently.....I really don't believe that because yes I gorged but not to that extent!

I had a brilliant time, and the sun was shining and I thought I got a really awesome tan, which infact was sunburn and now I can barely move, I tell ya, those 5hours on the train home was TORTURE, the worst part of the burn is on my feet because I was drunk and full from the BBQ and fell asleep with my feet in the dogs paddling pool.

SO I got home last night, to be welcomed by torrential rain and guess what I didn't have a coat, so I'm walking into the town centre in flip flops, and a strappy vest top, looking like I'd just fallen asleep inside of a sunbed and then the stupid effing flip flops kept sliding and I fell on my !!!!.....Lurrrrvly.

I'll be back to low carb tomorrow, no food in this house! Leave OH for a few days and he eats everything and yet manages to spend £80 on food whilst I'm away? All I see is onions and pataks curry paste? Idiot!

As a type 2 diabetic I would like to low-carb but I also don't like meat/fish that much. Can anyone suggest a book/diet plan that I would find helpful?

    Thanks
Hi, there are a few vegetarians here. You can pretty much just use fake meat - quorn pieces/mince/fillets, fake meat sausages and burgers etc. And tofu of course. If you eat meat and fish just occasionally then you will have even more choice. Eggs, cottage cheese and cream cheese are also great sources of protein.

Like marrowgirl says, it probably results in slower weight loss, but I don't care as long as it's going in the right direction.

Hiya Ladies I'm back after my trip to Wembley for the play-offs.The trip was worth is though cos we won and now we have Premiership Football next season.Unfortunately the catering arrangements were not low carb and all the cider I poured down my neck before and after the match means that I approached the scales with considerable trepidation this morning.I've put 2lbs on but my rings are tight on my fingers and thats a sure sign I'm retaining fluid so the 2lbs are probably fluid so I'll up my fluid intake today and that should take care of it

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

I think the code was VEG but it said
This offer is only available from now until Midday on 26th May 2009
and I've just tried to order to see if it worked but it didn't.

Maybe worth trying to email the site to see if you can negotiate a discount.

I bought the 10litre bulk size and I'll get another when I run out as I use it every day.

    Hello everyone :hello:

Just back from a day out at Flamingo Land Theme Park/Zoo - had a fab time (mostly). Made the big mistake of going on a piddly easy looking ride (self-propelling 'bike' about 12 feet above the park) & was absolutely terrified & burst out crying :o I'm really not good with heights _pale_

Anyway, still 'pretending' not to low-carb so I won't bore you with my menu for today

    Where's alias today?? And Mercy??

Hope everyone been good today - I'm going to have wine tonight as need to calm my nerves.

I've emailed them, gutted to have missed it though.

Lost 3lbs this week, takes me down a stone in total. I'm sure the coconut oil is responsible, just melting the fat off!
