Oh it's another stunning day down here... I have a lovely new fitted kitchen (hopefully get the cooker out of the car today) and life is good. Yesterday, I took all the furniture out of my bedroom and turned it into a nice big gym. No excuses now!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Lol Badger, I had a dining room (if you could call it that as it is so small ) that was the same. I had 4 pieces of exercise equipment stationed round the room like a mini circuit and made everyone eat off their knees. Didn't go down well I can tell you, families are right pains sometimes.:rotfl:
I used it all for a week then we started hanging our coats/washing off the handles.
New kitchen sounds good though.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Good morning all :hello:
Had a BBQ last night with burger in a bun, sausages in a bun and potato waffles. Also drank a bottle of red wine so I was well & truly stuffed (in all senses of the word) last night!!
Tis another beautiful day here, have been sat out in the garden drinking black coffee  & eating bacon butties.
Yep, alias, I'll be the one 'pretending' not to be on low-carb:rotfl:
Good luck with re-starting low-carb (again) This time you can do it!! You can do it!! You can do it!!:rotfl:
Badger, enjoy your new kitchenWe are supposed to be getting major work done on the house but I keep putting it off because I can't be @rsed dealing with builders etc.
LittleMiss, long time no see, but very good post btw.
moomi, were you 'eating your sorrows' at the footie resultsBummer.
focus, well done on sticking with chicken salad.
marrow, good idea to keep a photo diary, thinking I should have done that too, maybe would have helped me stick to low-carb.
Welcome one-non, good luck with low-carbing. You should maybe re-think how you are going about it though, see LittleMiss' post.
Hello to anyone else I missed.
Oh, and mazzers, hope you had a good night & behaved yourself, as much as several gallons of alcohol will allow anyway!!
Have a good day y'all!!

Ahhhh...I forgot Mazzers was out [STRIKE]on the p*ss[/STRIKE] socialising. THAT'S why she's not posted yet.:rotfl:
I am 100% convinced my memory is worse when I o/d on carbs. Absolutely positive. I know I feel less sluggish when I'm icing but I'm certain it affects my memory too. I know interrupted sleep can have an effect but even when I have periods of quality sleep, I still find my short term memory is not so good when I'm eating carbs (and when I eat carbs, I do tend to eat a lot, I couldn't be classed as a moderate carb eater). Anyone else found any carb/memory connections? Or am I just weird?:rotfl:

Ahh, not long got home and all the way was thinking about what i could eat, and suddenly remembered i had a ( lc ) lamb dinner from yesterday, i wolfed it down, was lush, so glad i kept it for today.
I did have crusty bread and lovely conserve for breakfast but am back to icing now.
Had sooo much alceehol yesterday on an empty belly, i was terribly drunk but had a lovely time, and even had a quite nice guy tell me i was gorgeous.. wooo hooo

I now have a full belly so a nap is the order of the day.

Oh and friends kept telling me i've lost 'loads' of weight0 -
Well so much for me being indoors all day. Been running about getting this that and the other for kids (I use that term loosely since kid in question is nearly 20 ) and OH's who decide to phone with requests for things. Just in the door and will be out again in 15 minutes for youngest's swimming class.
Anyway......
I did have time to hard boil 7 eggs (out of date by 2 days - get me I'm an anarchist all of a sudden ) and mix them with mayo for a 'grab when needed' standby snack.
I had sausage egg and bacon for breakki and a mix of cooked chicken, cheese and egg for ..... for....what's a 3pm meal time called?:D
No idea what's for tea but I'm kinda hoping OH will have something started by the time I get back from swimming...he's usually a better cook than I am.
DAY 1 in the ojo house....all is well.
Well done focus and glad to see you back in one piece mazzers.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Shhsh Don't tell anyone. Let's keep this our little secret.
It appears that dietetic supplementation with coconut oil does not cause dyslipidemia and seems to promote a reduction in abdominal obesityMy weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Usually I wear baggy stuff around the house as i'm usually cleaning and always end up with baby sick (amongst other things!) down myself, but today when I was heading out, I put on a nice top and trousers- the tops hanging away down my shoulders and doesn't cling at all anymore, and i don't even have to unbutton the trousers to take them off anymore!!!! think i will be adding these to my "baggy clothes collection"!!
The scales say I've only lost 6lbs, but as long as im losing it in inches, i dont care. I just need to find the time to exercise now.
What kind of exercise do u lot do in the house?
