    Morning all :hello:

alias, hope you feel better soon, I can join you in the 'hangover' department :o Had quite a lot of red wine last night, nice at the time but feel a bit 'dog-rough' this morning

mazzers, I quite often get woken early by our neighbour sweeping his path!! He does it several times a day, along with washing his car & cutting his grass several times a week!!

My sister used to have a neighbour who regularly cut his grass at 7.30 a.m. on a Sunday morning!! Some people just deliberately wind people up on purpose. Very inconsiderate of Sky engineer though, he obviously wants to get all of his jobs over & done with so he can have the rest of the day off!!

Am feeling very slim this morning

Me too. Sat down this morning & kind of folded my arms around myself, I felt different & wondered where my belly had gone!! :rotfl:

Take note new peeps... My scales are not showing any loss

So dont give up when the scales lie, you are still losing but retaining water.

    Completely agree!!
  • She made a quip the other day that he doesn't even know how much salt and vinegar he likes he waits for her to do it.

I put my foot down with 'is nibs from day one. His mum honestly believed that he couldn't get out of bed without a cup of tea! I soon proved that wrong. And if my parents go away, my mum packs my dad's things! And then he has the nerve to moan if she's forgotten anything! No way! Treat them like grown-ups, that's what I say! Let them do things for themselves!

  • She was so worried when I said that I wasn't getting up to make him a cup of tea in bed (as she had done for many years before) that she bought us a teasmade for a wedding present. I'll admit it probably isn't worth saying much to him before his cup of tea in the morning, but he never really needed waiting on. That's mums spoiling their sons for you! (I'm sure that's not you Mazzers). :)

OH knows I won't stand for his !!!!!!, just tired of his excuses about "bad memory" for everything! His mum is from Singapore, so I think they are quite used to waiting on hand & foot for their husband/children, OH's dad is the most LAZIEST person ever, he has not cooked ONE meal ever!

Must admit for all his faults, I have plenty of my own and he puts up with them.....match in heaven haha.

Feeling a bit better today, no vomiting, though still a bit "leaky" from the other end. OH soaked my bathroom scales when he was in the bath, so they are being very dodgy now, hopefully just need to dry out, but it looks like I now weigh 76.3kg.....what's that in stones? *off to convert*

Gulp.. i have a bit, especially the youngest.
They can cook, iron and do the washing (some shape)
Not that they do it for me, but they are capable.
Youngest not very good with cooking.
He was never interested in learning like the other two.
But even he can manage on his own now.;)
