Have you managed to sort it out yourself?? Noticed you have a new avvy - is that a little 'un poking his head up at the bottom of your pic??
If you haven't sorted, go to Quick Links -> Edit options -> Click 'See Avatars' & save. Think that should work.0 -

Morning gang! Feeling good? I am! Since the first weigh-in with the new scales on Thursday evening to this morning I’ve lost 2.6lb! I’m heading in the right direction! Also deep pink (not purple) on the ketostix.
Plan for the day – computer faff, maybe a bit of housework, then trash tv (itv from 6-ish)
Breakfast / brunch – bacon with melted brie & a couple of sausages
Tea – steak smorgasbord
Dilemma – white wine…
Sweet – good luck with the pesto chicken! How many people are you cooking it for? I don’t think you could fit more than 2 of the flattened chicken breasts under the grill, so if you’re cooking for more than 2 maybe transfer the sheet of foil to a baking tray and keep warm in the oven while cooking the next batch? Just a thought! I worry too much! (But I just want you to enjoy it!)

Just realised that I should probably explain what I mean by “steak smorgasbord”
The “steak smorgasbord” is just my name for a plate of pick n mix finger food. Steak cooked quickly on a griddle (charred on the outside, rare on the inside – yum!) then cut into small chunks, & small chunks of other stuff – cheese, baby plum tomatoes, onion (with a dash of vinegar), maybe some baby gherkins or capers. Add a small blob of English mustard and a big blob of mayo for dipping, plonk yourself in front of the telly and feast away!
I could scoff a bag of crisps in front of the telly (and I mean multi-pack here) so this is a perfect alternative for me. It’s really filling too because everything is cut into small chunks it takes longer to eat. The only downside is that it’s perfect with a glass (or three) of wine…0 -

Thats the same as me:rolleyes:
However, I have found these
http://www.porkscratching.com/products.php
The top packet comes in a huge bag (family size) and are sold in Home Bargains for 79p. They are baconey flavour (what a surprise:rolleyes:) and have the same texture as Quaver crisps......... in fact they are just like crisps and you wouldn't know the difference unless you read the back of the packet. I love them and they certainly fill the gap for crisps (that I miss desperately:o).
And the best bit............................... the whole bag is less than 0.1g of carbs (and no, that is not a typing error).
Seriously, try them. They are not pork scratchings, they are crisps:DIf you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.
My way is Atkins0 -
Ah, Pork Crunch! Yeah, I know the ones! Giant beefy flavoured Quavers - yum yum yum! I mistakenly bought a normal bag of pork scratchings when they were out of stock once - Bleurgh! _pale_ Not making that mistake again!
The only trouble is, I find it hard to finish just a small pack as they're really filling and quite strong flavoured.
I'm also a bit suspicious about the ingredient list - Pork rind, salt, Flavour enhancer (E621), Hydrolysed vegetable protein, Dextrose, Rusk (wheat flour, water, salt, raising agent (E503)), Colours (E150c, E160C), anti-caking agent (E551), sunflower oil.
Surely some of that stuff would make the carb count more than the stated less than 0.1g per 100g?
They are quite handy for when only the real crunch of crisps will do!
Have you tried them crushed up as a breadcrumb type of coating yet? I keep meaning to give it a try (for a kiev or something like that).0 -
