  • Marrow,
if you go to the first page, skip the first reference to cheesecake and go to the Rose Elliot strawberry cheesecake recipe further down.

    Hello people!

The courgette 'stacks of goodness' were excellent. Seriously, if you get fat courgettes hollow out the middle, dig out most of the insides (leaving a bottom of the stack) then stuff with lovely things and roast.

My experimentins earlier have made me want to do this more, maybe with a little grated cheese in the stuffing mix. There will never be a more satisfying courgette chimney than one stuffed with loveliness and roasted! Don't put feta on the top though, will simply harden to a cardboard (both in taste and texture). It loses taste with moisture.

Still was a fab dinner! Ta mazz 4 the heads up.

PS and the peppers were to DIE for :)

Buttonmoons - Hope you feel better, it might not be on the cards but I find a bit of milk (goat's, for pref) helps. Or recently been trying about 80mls of double cream with a little vanilla essence for supper. Works wonders in stomach settling.

mazzers - I think stepping up to 2x keto may have helped. But as when one changes a few things at once it's difficult to say which one worked. Could have been not eating solids after 7pm, could be more exercise. No, it's not more exercise, I have ambition in that direction though :rotfl:

My main differences have been steppin up the keto cocktail and not eating any solid food after 7pm. I have had the cream and vanilla, that's lovely sipped as a bedtime drink. I know it's just about 80 - 100 mls as I have measured my glass :)

Big love to you all, wonderful women!

Morning guys. :) Just had a quick flick through the thread. (Was a bit on the drunk side last night and I have a very sore head AND TOTM just started and I'm on the couch with a hwb as I'm in agony so I'm not up for in depth reading, lol.)

Happy hols to newish and paula....soooo wish I was going too. Have a good time guys.

buttons, sorry you're feeling !!!!...it'll help the weight loss though. ;) I sympathise about your OH....mine genuinely does have a very bad memory (he was in the Army and there is some concern over drugs the men were given in the Gulf War but of course the powers that be deny any connection)...anyway I know how flipping annoying it can be living with someone who 'forgets' all the time.

mazzers, your bread sounds good but I dont think I'll be making it at the mo because I'm kinda back to not eating in moderation again (as I'm sure you all know:rolleyes:) so I'd likely eat the loaf in one go. :o I miss bread/toast though so if I get going again I'll definitely try it further down the line.

Hiya to everyone else ...I can't be faffed right now to go read back to see what else I was going to say so I'm just gonna send a communal wave. :rotfl:

    Me again..

Am feeling very slim this morning

    My uniform trousers definately looser.
Need to order a smaller top too.

Bought pyjama bottoms yesterday and wanted a 14-16 but they came as a 12-14 or 16-18, was unsure what to get but got the 12-14 and i know they are only pj's, but they fit.. Yay... and they are not stretchy 'jersey cotton' but the unstretchy
cotton that shirts are made out of icon7.gif

Take note new peeps... My scales are not showing any loss

So dont give up when the scales lie, you are still losing but retaining water.
