    Do you do deliveries?! :rotfl:

Sounds scrummy!! Haven't really craved pizza whilst doing low-carb but, now that you have mentioned it ..........................

    *goes off to search lowcarbmegastore*

Honestly, is so worth the little bit of effort.
Has gotta be easier than wringing out a cauliflower

    :rotfl:

My bread is a better shape for sarnies, (is about the size of your average loaf cake, but a bit longer) have cut it a little thinner, and two slices are approx 6g carbs, a nice packed lunch with a pepperami and a piece of cheese or a pkt pork scratchings.

Been looking at the megastore - think you got the last fusilli pasta, mazzers :rotfl: but they do have the other varieties in stock.

Only problem is, you don't know how much P&P is going to cost unless you put all your details in first  Apparently it depends on weight of your order, fair enough, but why can't they tell you P&P cost at 'shopping basket' stage?! Wouldn't spend £75 for free delivery, was only looking to buy the flour & pasta, so would have to pay delivery.

Will wait until payday & then decide what to do but am definitely fancying HM pizza now

I have gone all the way to checkout to see p&p quite a few times and not bothered once i saw the price, but after paying £1.15 for a few crispbreads it put things into perspective.
It is annoying to have to enter the details first.
You can still pull out if it's too much tho.

Try making the baked custard, its lovely.

    Hello All,

I'm full of misery. Just saw my folks (they've been away for 4 weeks) so was hoping they would say "wow, you look thinner"...but nothing, nada. In fact we had a chat about diets (they know i'm LC) and mum said "well, nevermind, it'll take ages to loose weight, you'll just have to starve yourself" Dad suggested I go to a fat farm "because they'll put you on a diet"!! Sigh. I suspect this kind of "support" was part of my eating issue, and I know my GP said it will be difficult to loose weight coz of my meds but even so I am feeling quite low now. Ate a whole bar of choc when I got home (as if THAT would make me feel better!)
Trying to get into a better frame of mind, I'm doing this diet for my health and any weight loss is a benefit but still feeling a bit carp.:(
Sorry to moan, will be more positive tomorrow.

marrow girl, take absolutely no notice.

Four weeks is not long enough for people who see you regularly to notice a big difference. Bet you can feel it in your clothes, though.

It took 3 months and 2 stone to make a big difference for me. Until then it seemed hardly noticeable.

You always get those unsupportive people - harder when it's your own family - but you KNOW it works, so stick with it. I have gone from 12 and half stone (just into obese) to just over 9 stone and looking OK. And you know it's good for your health, losing weight or not.

    Ignore and carry on.

    xx
  • aw marrowgirl, dont feel bad. I bet you have lost weight, its just some people are rubbish at noticing. Look at photos before of you before you started and i bet you see the difference. i came across old pictures today, and my face is definatly a lot slimmer now.
Don't feel too bad about the chocolate, everyone has a setback once in a while.Today I had a terrible tummy bug and ended up eating easy to make things. (toast and bannana, chocolate and dreaded crisps). Back on the diet tommorow!!!
I hope you feel better tommorow.xx

    Thanks HC & angel,

OH says my face looks thinner which is something. I guess I was just angling after some encouragment from my folks but think my MSE family have done a better job!

Sweet, i have emailed lowcarbmegastore complaining cos i added two glutens and two pastas to see the postage for you but it was £4.95.
So i added seven pastas and twas the same, then i only had one pasta on its own and was still the same amount.

Told them to plz explain as they say P&P is by weight

    Will keep you posted.

Ha ha 'scuse the pun.. just noticed...
