Not had a bad day today.
Cheese omlette for breakfast, mackerel tinned in oil, tomato and courgette cooked in butter for dinner and I'm not sure what to do about tea.
I had a Sa*nsbury delivery this afternoon which included salted peanuts and cashew nuts and I've attacked them:o. So now I'm not hungry...
I think I'll wait now until I get properly hungry before I have anything.
I'm annoyed with myself though because for me part of this is better self discipline and not overeating when I'm not even hungry.
I've found that reminding myself that I'm taking more than my share of something everybody likes is the most effective way of stopping!. This has what has stopped me tonight...don't like to think of myself as greedy! Just have to remember for next time....
Hope everybody has a good day.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
G&B, you obviously like babybels!! :rotfl:
Oooh franby, you've just reminded me about KP Salt & Vinegar peanuts. I used to love them (you have to eat them sparingly unless you want lips like Angelina Jolie!!), I wonder if they still do them??
B - 2 babybels, 2 pork medallions
L - 2 buttered GG crispbreads with cheese, ham & lettuce roll-ups
D - chicken something with green stuff
Lots of water
I didn't feel great this morningI've had my breakfast & feel a bit better so am going out for a walk in the sunshine.
Rescued a blackbird from an interloper cat earlier, poor little thing, I hope it survives0 -
I've plumped for the 5:2 - survived my first week and my first two 500 calories days this week and I've lost 6 pounds - let's hope it continues.0

I may be partial to a babybel...The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Had coffee with whole milk this morning.
Breakfast was 3 babybel, a whole bunch of sliced ham and coffee with cream.
Snack was... 2 babybel, lol
Lunch was salad with chicken, bacon, cheese drenched in hot sauce and salad dressing.
More coffee with cream and a babybel
Dinner is fajitas minus the tortilla. So just chicken, veg, cheese, sour cream and more hot sauce. It's yummy!
I love hot sauce, got to be Franks! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
G&B, was it HM fajita seasoning?? I made some the other night using the recipe out of the 'takeaway secret' book. I omitted the cornflour, stockcube & salt.
B - 2 buttered GG crispbreads with 2 fried eggs on top
L - 2 babybels, ham & lettuce roll-ups
D - chicken with mushroom/bacon (thanks, M&S), cheesy leeks, green mash (cauli & spinach)
Lots of water
Lots of red wineWell it is the weekend!! :j
Just back from a lovely walk along the seafront. Coming back wasn't so great as I was carrying heavy bags full of M&S goodies (I had a '£5 off a £25 spend' voucher), but I suppose it was good exercise.0 -
No, just old El Paso fajita seasoning, probably not as low carb as it should be but hey ho.
Today I had:
Coffee with whole milk
3 babybel, 3 slices corned beef, coffee with cream
Salad with chicken, bacon, cheese salad dressing and hot sauce.
Babybel and coffee with cream
Dinner was meant to be scrambled eggs and bacon, which I burnt! Ate a little but it was horrible.
Just had 2 boiled eggs and a little cheddar. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
What are the GG crispbreads sweet? Are they low carb friendly? I'd love something crunchy. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

sweetserendipity - I really envy you being able to walk by the sea!
Breakfast today was beetroot soup and a slice of bread - not LC but I had to eat it up having made it. The beetroot was out of the garden and you have to eat what you grow don't you?
Dinner was omlette and courgette and tea was cabbage, bacon and half a grilled tomato.
I've had to accept that I'm not going to be able to be as LC as I'd like because the budget won't do it.
Have lost 4lbs today though - back under 14st which is a relief!!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
