    Just had a very filling breakfast/lunch (had a much-needed lie-in this morning).

B - 2 soft boiled eggs with 2 buttered GG crispbreads made into soldiers
L - Bowl of HM green soup with swirl of double cream

The green soup looks like stagnant pond water but is actually very nice :rotfl:

Artytarty, steamed or boiled strips of courgette are a nice alternative to pasta. Just use a potato peeler to make the strips.

Forgot to go for my walk yesterday so I'm going to have an extra long walk along the beach later ~ it's a gorgeous sunny day here :D
  • Chicken with spinach & ricotta filling (courtesy of M&S), cauliflower, cheesy leeks & little gem lettuce for dinner tonight  It was extremely filling!!

Had a 20 minute walk this morning. Did at least 40 minutes yesterday (to make up for missing Friday's walk). I'd like to increase my daily walk to at least 30 minutes a day if I can. I love getting out in the fresh air :D

Well things went to pot a little bit today:o.

We were taking DS back to college on the train and to be honest I could not be bothered to think about/make up a LC packed lunch. So I've eaten ham and cheese rolls... It was a pretty active day so hopefully there won't be too much damage.

I'm right back on it tomorrow and I'll make sure I've got a plan for a packed lunch for next time.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs with buttered crispbread soldiers for breakfast (& lots of water).

It's a lovely morning so I'm going out for a 20 minute walk. If I feel ok I'll do another 20 minutes this afternoon, but my legs feel a bit tired today :o

I got weighed this morning & I'm nearly 6lbs lighter than last Monday. Not bad considering I only started LCing on Wednesday last week :D

franby, hope you manage to get back on the wagon today :)

2 boiled eggs for breakfast with coffee and cream.
    Chicken, bacon and cheese salad.
Steak, Brocolli and salad for dinner.

  • Good luck, G&B. Hope you & LO are doing ok :)

B - was an attempt at fried cauliflower mash & cabbage 'patties', except it was more like cauliflower mash & cabbage splat :o Still ate it though & had it with a fried egg on top.
L - 2 buttered GG crispbreads with cheese
D - HM chicken curry (videojug 10 minute chicken curry on youtube) with green stuff
    Snacks - 2 babybels
    Lots of water

My legs were even more tired than yesterday this morning, but still managed a 30 minute walk.

Hi:D We're good thanks! Hope you're well too?

Since I was last here I've graduated, in the process of getting divorced, got a great new job, it's been too long since I've been on here and I feel like a whale. Weighed myself this morning and I'm the heaviest I've ever been:(

  • Another one back on the wagon, before Christmas I had to do a lot of crafting, so spent a lot of time sitting, and we lost our dear old dog in september, so there was no excercise for me at all!! Then of course I had to go and eat everything in sight over Christmas and the new year, plus all the extra booze....and I am now heavier than I was before I started low carbing, just had my 54th birthday, I am looking a little older than I did before, and have started a new business in the last year that I need to look a little more glam for (well a lot more than I did when I was doing my gardening round haha). To cap it all my DH has lost his middle age spread by running and diet (he did a run last year of 10k) the gap between us now looks much bigger, and although he hasn't said I know he would prefer me to be half the girl I am haha! (well maybe not half, but a lot slimmer) So I am back on it, got to make a difference now before it's too late!!
  • Sounds like your life has completely changed, G&B, hopefully for the better :) Congratulations on graduating & getting that fab new job :T

Mrs H, sorry to hear about your dear old dog :( Good to hear you're back on the LC wagon, looking glam for a new business sounds like a good incentive :D My DH runs & is quite fit & slim, the complete opposite of me :o I'm getting out for a walk every day, usually on my own & just around the block for now, but hopefully I'll increase that over time.

    B - 2 babybels, 2 pork medallions
    L - 2 buttered GG crispbreads with cheese, lettuce & ham roll-ups
    D - to be decided
    Lots of water

    Off for my walk now.

Totally changed for the better, i'm finally happy for the first time in a long while.

Food for the day looks like...
Coffee with whole milk - I think I have too much milk in it but it makes me happy but I will drop it if it affects my losses.
Breakfast - Coffee with cream, 3 sausages with garlic mayo, 2 babybel
Snack - coffee with cream, babybel
Lunch - salad with leftover sirloin steak strips, bacon & cheese. Got yummy low carb dressing anf a ton of Hot Sauce on it. Love hot sauce!
Snack if i'm hungry - 2 babybel and coffee
Dinner - bacon and cheese omelette with salad.

Man thats a lot of cheese!
