hello there - Im new to this (trainer at the gym recommended I try low carb, so here goes) - and am struggling to find things to have for breakfast. Can anyone suggest anything? I don't eat red meat, and will be at work, so nothing too messy or needs heating!
Hope all you experts can help me do this! Thanks xSealed Pot no 20110 -
Can anyone suggest a savoury lowcarb breakfast to take into work? I'm thinking crustless quiche frozen in slices, maybe with smoked salmon, but am open to other ideas. At the moment I'm having Greek salad for breakfast but am having to psych myself up for it."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Eggs (hard boiled):D“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Hi
I have been mixing berries with soft cheese for breakfast for a change, sometimes on an almond pancake
50g of soft cheese mixed with 50g raspberries is 4.5 net carbs
If in a hurry, a piece of cheese or egg mayonnaise with some cucumber is nice. I also don't mind cold scrambled egg with a little smoked salmon.

As a side I have been feeling really rough going very low this time round and so have had to up my carb level a bit. I seem to be maintaining my weight but not losing.0 -
I also find breakfast the hardest meal to be
1) quick
2) not just eggs
I have in my repertoire currently:
- sausages (cooked night before)
- eggs (poached, scrambled, omelette with any of cheese/ham/spinach/onions/mushrooms)
- tinned tomatoes (plum or chopped)
- cheese
- ham
- smoked salmon
- a slab of 'low carb mexican fudge' (google it!)
- any combination of the above !
any other suggestions would be gratefully received.
thanks

I often have cooked meats and cottage cheese.
Sounds odd but the cottage cheese does give something of the 'wet' to a chicken breast
Also do like ham and boiled egg
A massive solid omlet cooked the night before and cut into pizza slices - that's nice too.
There are many options - I do encourage you to check out the recipe list, link on page1 of this thread. Lots of ideas - tried and tested, by low carbers over the last few years.
May I draw your attention to Mexican fudge, spamish quiche, salmon bites and Flaxbread?
Have a good mooch, find what you may like then experiment
Much love
