I want to find a low carb coffee ice cream recipe so will trawl the internet.0 -
Hi all!
I've been experimentin with frozen yogurt.
I love icecream but do not want to eat the sugar.
I made some tubs of plain yogurt with cinnamon (quite a lot). Tubs were about 6 cm across. The first one had just nearly frozen and was lovely. The next was like a bit of concrete. Properly frozen. It tasted lovely but was a bit of a chisel job to eat it :rotfl:
So I took my lovely recipe and put it into icecube trays :j
These, once frozen, were tipped out into a bag and put back in the freezer. 2 or 3 of these in a small container, for sucking on - bliss :A
I'm sure you can involve your favourite berries etc to make something you'd really like
Big love

Think of the calories you burnt chisseling it Mercy
Celtic chocolate is a chocolate that has no sugar and has also had it's carbs reduced. It makes it under 4 grams per bar and tastes like normal milk chocolate. I like to Melt it and stir in bits of brazil nuts and a chopped up apricot to make a fruit and nut bar :j

Have had one or two days this week were I wandered from low carb but even so I have managed to lose 3lb this week, so that is the 2lb holiday gain plus an extra 1lb. Just the encouragement I need to continue. Eating lots of salads as too hot for anything else and drinking lots of water.
I too would be interested in the Celtic chocolate bar.
I tried freezing my lactofree homemade yoghurt this week (just in a small tub) and it was fine. Will try again this week.Weight loss 0/2st

From Holland and Barrett stores, it has a blue wrapper. I used to buy them from low carb mega store but hate paying for postage. It is about 90p a bar.
Making a chilli today over cabbage ribbons.Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
Well done durham_mim :T Glad that it is working.
Thanks for the update, pink princess
I will update my weight later today but I had a sneaky look midweek so should have lost
Any new recipes greatly appreciated0 -
Lost 6lb. My weight spirals up at an alarming rate so I am reallly glad to have lost some of it.
Does anyone know how you can put on up to 8lb in a week and then lose it like this? Even my GP is baffled as that amount of gain, even with water retention ( and I never have a problem with this as I pee all the time)
Have a good day0
