50g of ground almonds
25g of ground flax
a tbsp of melted or softened butter
2 tbsps of splenda or any low carb sweetener
a few raspberries
Blitz altogether in the food processor, put tbsp sized amounts on to a greased tray for around 10-15 minutes.
They help keep you regular as well :rotfl:Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -

Thank you
I like almonds but use them as flour mainly, eating wise I prefer brazils as they are half the carbs.
Yes I have Brazils, but it's nice to take a little pot of nuts to work so I'll add a few Almonds too (and one or two cashews and macademias lately aswell, though those aren't carb-friendly: the cashews need eating up, that's my excuse)

Does anybody know where the cheapest place is to buy ground flax please?Life is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
Hi
Amazon sell flax in large bags so are the cheapest but it can go rancid so, unless you use lots of it, it is better to buy it it smaller quantities. I also see that Aldi have started to stock 225g bags of flax and flax / seed mixtures and they would be the cheapest for smaller amounts I think.
I had a blow out yesterday and have been suffering with wind so back on the straight and narrow.
I had a turkey breast coated in sesame seeds and parmesan and fried for dinner. Made celeriac chips (yummy!) and ratatouille, broccolii as well.
pink princess - thanks for keeping up the posting
durham_mim - how are things going now that the funeral is over?0 -
OOH Celeriac chips, I have not had them for ages
I know what you mean about the wind, I don't miss that :rotfl:
I do use a lot of flax seed, I make pizza bases and all sorts out of it. I will check out their prices, thanks :TLife is short, smile while you still have teeth0 -
