Got phone call this morning to say MIL is in hospital. She is 93 and it doesn't look good. Could be spending a good deal of time at hospital this week.

Morning all. Its grey and damp in Dorset, but I can see a small patch of blue sky, so ever hopeful!!

Sheila, are you ok? Are you being good????:rotfl:
    Have a great week everybody.xx

Yes I am :D I have decided to try to keep to 35 -40 carbs as it seems realistic and lower than I was on before. Personally I find it hard to keep to 20 and think that those who do are :A My family are all telling me to stay where I am on the weight front but they are wrong as I am still in the obese category :(

murphydog - stop reminding me about the chocolate muffin recipe; you know what happens when I make them :o Seriously, the idea for cake seems great.

pink princess - busy cooking?? I hope that the buffet goes well :)

durham_mim - sorry to hear about MIL. I will be thinking of you and your family.

I have found that a mixture of sesame seeds and parmesan make a tasty crust for chicken etc but I don't know about scotch eggs. Don't double coat things though as the coating falls off!!

It went really well, thankyou all for your help :)

Murphy the gateau sounds amazing, I will try that this Sunday :j

Today I have had 1 slice of cheese on toast, 1.9g carbs a slice from lowcarb megastore.
Some home made pork rind, Mr M sells the ready to roast skin cheap.
Then some seabass served with zero noodles fried in a chilli and garlic butter.

Finishing with a shot of vodka before bed

Need an early night as DD1 is off to Poland in a few hours

Today has been a really busy work wise so I have not had enough calories yet.

Breakfast was a cup of soya milk.
    Lunch was nothing
Dinner was a king prawn and cauliflower curry, lovely but I am still starving.

I have some eggs in the fridge so I might have some egg mayo soon.

Shiela stick with it and you won't be in that weight catergory for long :T
