    Hi all!

I'm still up to my eyes but do try to catch up on occasion.

    Had a lovely holiday!

Saw my new lean face grow jowls over a week

My friend said 'oh you've lost a lot of weight' when she first saw me in daylight LOL, I hadn't seen her in 6 months or so.

Ate a lot of chocolate and drank a lot too. By the time I was leaving I could see her thinking 'her face is fatter!'

I ate potatoes quite often whilst there but no wheat at all :rotfl: Did do oatbran and flaxbread each day too as their diet does seem to contain bread - but not as much as I was doing :rotfl: So had a blow out but found I'd only put on 4lbs once I weighed miself at work.

Been back at work 1 week tomorrow so will weigh again. Can see in my face that I've lost something, so not too worried :rotfl:

Carb face. I had / have carb face :D

Can anyone else see that in themselves after a blow out? Think it was sweetserendipity coined it first many years ago. Well mine is under control now and I prefer it that way :j

    Big love to you all

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

    Hi Marbett and lurkers,

I'm sticking to the pink path at the moment (Idiot proof diet). No news to report at all.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Hi everyone,

having a better day today. I've managed to replant all the plants that were moved whilst the new fence was installed. I even had room to plant a few strawberries which were previously in a planter, so very pleased. Still sticking to the diet but not much exercise done except for digging this week.

    Well done Durham-mim.
Its cold but lovely and sunny in Bmth,I'm going to do a car boot tomorrow, so will take a flask of soup with me to keep me from freezing.

I've bought some spelt flour, to experiment with making bread with it, so I can have the odd roll without such bad effects. Its supposed to be better for gluten intolerant people.( Not Low carb for those who are being strict!!)

    Have a lovely weekend.xx

It is so cold :( I know that it will get worse but I find I want to fill up on hot satisfying food at this time of year. Time to make soup I think ;)

Mercy - Glad that your trip went well. When are the new cats arriving?

marrbett - hi  Let us know how the spelt flour works out

Minihauk - how is the weight going?

durham_mim / murphydog - sounds like you have both been busy. I hope to get out into the garden on Monday, weather permitting

This thread is really threatening to become obselete if we don't post more and people come back / join us. I know that it is a difficult time of year but where has everyone gone.

I am trying to be good and wavering between a few pounds up and down. Still enjoying some nuts with 70% chocolate and almond pancakes but I sometimes have 1 small potato or a tbsp rice with my meal. Tonight I am having salmon and cauliflower cheese (low carb version).

Come on, let us know how you are doing, even if it is bad, as it is good to know how everyone is, please ........x
