oh my word...... I've not even had the chance to get to know any of you properly yet.
Please don't leave any of you. I, for one, need all the help I can get and those of you who have already been there and done it are a mind of information for someone like me.
You can't beat information and advice from others that are following the same regime. No matter how many books you read, personal experience is invaluable.
I hope this settles down very quickly.0 -

I don't post that often but have been reading here for a few months and have found the thread very useful. Not anymore unfortunately. Thanks to all the regular posters for the information and advice over the last few months.
I am "gone" too :-(
I stopped posting in all this madness - I'm bumbling along with Dr D stylee diet and down another 4 pounds.
CONGRATULATIONS to JerryJerry,Jerry on your job sucess, best wishes for a good recovery to your poorly people Sheila.0 -
AudreyHepburn - well done on your weight loss :T
Ex MIL will not recover and is in a semi conscious state on morphine but thanks. She is 86 and has advanced alzheimers so it will be a blessed release. Ex husband and I have remained good friends and I hope that he will be a bit more mobile after the op.
Fern Merkin - I hope that it will pick up again as well but don't understand why some misadvice should stop genuine people from posting and helping one another. Life is full of ups and downs but helping each other is surely the most important thing?0 -
Just logged in this morning and am very sad to see so many friends go. The thread will not be the same without them. If we leave then the trolls have won. Please don't give them that satisfaction.
Thank you Daska, Mercy & Sheila for all your help and support. I will continue with this thread as I love it. I have learned so much. Thank you Sheila especially for contacting me when I hadn't posted for a while, thank you so much for your concern. I must admit to being more of a lurker than a poster but I'm like that in 'real life'. I'm a fairly quiet person and prefer to listen than chat. I don't post my daily menu here as I post it on my blog. I will miss the knowledge and experience of posters like Daska, Mercy & MarbettIf you are reading this please come back.
Daska is the having to eat 'gluten' taking its toll. I really value your contributions as a fellow ME sufferer. Please consider coming back.Weight loss 0/2st

Well that was quite a few of us, so I don't think that is particularly fair.
To be honest, I'm looking at this from a different angle. There are enough people on here (lurking or otherwise) that know what they are doing, so when these disruptive people come along, they are quickly put right.
What this then does is re-inforce the LC argument, and any newbies - or oldies - get a reminder of why this works. That's a good thing. It's not difficult to keep these people at bay, yes, it might be annoying but they'll get bored, we wont.0 -

Well, I'm sticking around, because even though I'm just about at my target weight, I really enjoy eating like this, and its nice to be around like-minded people. We all just need to hang on in there, and it'll be ok again.
I meant to say that someone recommended me a lovely pot of coconut oil, which is great(Daska, I think it may have been you?). I've also been using it as a moisturizer on my face-its one of the most effective ones I've found. I'll try and post the url again if anyone wants it.
Have a good day everyone, special love to Sheila who needs the hugs by the sounds of things.x0 -

Lol, so sorry Murphy, thankyou again! My DH uses it on his hair too, but do you mean as a conditioner and then rinse off? He uses it as a wet hair look (on dry hair!)0 -

Yes, as a conditioner. I put some on, put a plastic hair net thing on (do you know what I mean? it's not a net, but it came with some hair dye) and then wrap a towel round to keep the heat in.0
