Hi Hun
I second what daska said about the coconut oil, and drinking enough water.
I too have heard that psyllium husk can bung up if not enough water is drunk at the time. This combined with your painkillers will not help. Why not get some figs, eat about 8 and drink 2 litres of water, 1 straight after / during the figs and the other over a couple of hours. Miriam Stoppard once said nothing could withstand half a dozen figs and a pint of water before bed
I know that's not LC but if you are in pain and will be stopping the psyllium then it's a 1 off.
Best of luck

Sistercas and sweet, have a brilliant holiday. And don't worry too much about us in north yorkshire in the drizzle :rotfl:0 -
Well, my sister and nieces have left and I have a house full of carby things! The weekend was good but I wasn't... So I have burning toes (which seems to be related to high blood sugar), a streaming nose, catarrh (dairy related but doesn"t happen when low carbing) and a stinking headache. Time for a stiff drink to deal with the pain and back on the straight and narrow tomorrow.
Lots of fun though, went down to the beach for a bbq supper yesterday, was still boiling hot at 5 o'clock. Even went for a paddle, twice in two days, things are improving...Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

Morning all, I have behaved myself the last few days, so hope that I settle down to eating the way I want to!!
My coconut oil has gone to liquid with the heat-will it do any harm to put it in the fridge?
Hope the sun shines for everyone today.x0 -
Hiya!
I keep my coconut oil in the fridge, keeps it manageable

Happy birthday Mercy
Happy holiday sistercas
Sock-knitter - you can get coconut oil fom Holland and Barrett, Tesco, Amazon etc - it'll be fine in the fridge. (I keep mine in the airing cupboard during the winter as my kitchen is unheated... It does fine in the tropics so I figure "why not".)Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
