Yay! What a lively bunch o low carb lovelies!

    Bit of a catch up

Marrowgirl - De-carbing the house is the way, I find. Can't possibly do the chippy anymore, turns my stomach really. Although shares in a bucket of curly fries in Varsity now and then goes down well :)

Focus - Well done in resisting the carbs - it's a hollow pleasure :) Secret is having plenty of low carb treats and access to a great recipe list :D (will update later)

I weigh about every 2 weeks. Haven't much to lose, really it's the fat tummy stops me, don't want bad news :) Though it wasn't so bad last time

Mazzers - 11lbs in 9 weeks isn't bad. Esp considering the off the wagon times :) Slow but sure, hun.

Alias - we love you! and your moaning! Makes us feel normal .....:rotfl:
Only codding, it'd take more than that for some of us to feel 'normal' Anyway, check your sig - you done GOOD girl!

sweets - I didn't know who they were talking about either, badgers pic makes it all so obvious though :) Gosh, DB was really fit in that, swoon....

Badger - nice one! Bet you'll look great, do post pics! Travelling is always a trial, low carb wise, cos THEY don't understand! I took nuts and bought olives and red wine :)

    Whew!

Nah, Mine can quickly descend into a swamp. Sometimes I wish it would :) Left it dead tidy before holiday. Was back 2 days and couldn't see much of it :) Trouble is, there's only me to mess it up. Can't blame the cats at all. Well except for the sick :rotfl:

Am being better, but I'm still not very good :o

Would love a cleaner, a butler (Jeeves for preference) and a housekeeper. Tis my dream.

Thanks mercy, will check out that thread.

Sweet, is time middley moved out i think, he's 26 and wants to house share with mates but they are a bit slow

So i have him strumming his guitar and singing when i want a sleep
I dont complain tho, cos he has a nice little voice and is self taught on guitar and is really good. Not something you want when your pooped tho.

The oldest hasnt been at home for years he's 36 ( remember the pic of me at 17 holding him)
He is nagging for a visit tho and is hard work as he is schizophrenic, and when they are all together its bedlam, so can only put up with it when i have a holiday booked.

Am forever threatening to open this..

Glad to be of use. :rotfl:It takes a lot of work and effort to be good at it you know. ;):D

Mazzers...make sure you disinfect him before you let him in the house again. :D I'd hose mine down in the back garden whilst yelling 'I KNOW where you've been you dirty boy'.......just for the embarrassment/entertainment factor. :rotfl:Btw this is 'Save A Dustmite Week'....so tis good that you're doing your bit. ;):D

Badger, second the picture request. :D

I, have actually spent the weekend cleaning believe it or not. So I can say :p to you lot. :rotfl:Only thing I haven't done (or intend to do) is the ironing.

OH traded his motorbike in for a car a couple of weeks ago. I didn't think it was a wise decision but he went ahead anyway. I drove it today for the first time, just 20 minutes or so to see how it felt. He's just phoned to ask which country tracks I'd driven down as the exhaust is hanging off. It was fine when I left it! And I was on the main road at all times. Never rains but it pours in this house. I think tonight might be a good night for an early turn in with another book. It's times like this the choccy biscuits start shouting 'eat me' and I'm not sure I have the strength to shout back 'bite me'! :rotfl:

And I haven't forgotten about the door-frame battering!! Scary lady!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Loving the Scottish 'sayings' btw - plooks & boaking - great words!! :rotfl: Do you get Neds up your way or is that just a Glasgow term??

Lol.......I dont think it's just a Glasgow term but it's not really one we use or hear much here tbh. We have some that are much more dramatic than that. :D
