    Hello sweet,
DB is David Bowie (for my shame) in Labrynth.:o -Jareth the Goblin King.

Oh, swoon! I have a bit of a thing for DB in that film. Am I the only one?

Not by a LONG way! I'm aiming to recreate this costume:

Pair of boots is easy, as is leggings (although I'm aiming for trousers, more flattering!). Then I've bought a biker jacket in that colour from a charity shop, and will make myself an oversize collar to fit over the existing one... if I can find a suitable mold, I'll make the shoulder armour thing and I've got a long black cape I can hang off the whole thing.

Oh and I've got this wig:

Which I'll trim down to shape...

I had a great time with the parents, thank you! So nice to escape from it all, even if just for a brief while

The fancy dress is for my office - we work hard but play hard too... and there are prizes involved .

Mazzers, the cat gives the chickens a wide berth, they're more scary than he is!

  • Badger, while on the subject of your cat, can I ask if there's a reason you called him(?) Tufter??

The reason I ask is that we have been adopted by a big black tom cat & he has little 'tufts' on the tips of his ears, a bit like a red squirrel iykwim!! I nicknamed him tufty because of this :o
