Some lovely recipes on here lately :T thanks to all.
I'm working all weekend, but I'll be cooking up a storm when I get home on Monday
I've just made a lovely snack. I spread some Gia sun dried tomato paste on couple of slices of edam cheese and sandwiched together. Bit like an instant pizza. I don't feel like any dinner just yet, can't think why :rotfl:0 -
Hello!
Happy to report another 1kg loss this week :j
I'm finding Dukan easy to stick to as well.
I've never dieted to lose weight before and it is very good to have clear rules and guidelines to work to. Anyway, it seems to be working :T which is nice.
I can feel the difference too, this week. My clothes fit better and I'm feeling very positive.
Hope you all have a lovely start to the weekend!

Well done Mercy - glad that it is suiting you :T Good idea about the recipes, you are a star.
Nice to hear from you bossymoo - how is it going?
daska - I love thai green curry and will definitely have a go at your recipe. I agree that I have lost a pound and a half a week since I started but only 19lb since Christmas, which is only half a pound a week. Keep on trying but think that I may up carbs again next week and then drop back as it is the only way that I have lost any weight recently
murphydog999 - difficult with olive oil as I have been told that I have to use it instead of butter, coconut oil or lard. May try your idea with cucumber as not keen on celery.
elentan - glad that the cold is improving
Up since 3 again so going to bed soon, nite everyone0 -

Hi sweetie
Well done on the loss! :j
I did feel hungry at first so just ate more as recommended and snacked at mid morn.. :rotfl: The second week, I found that I was eating less at each meal and no need to snack. The feeling of being a little hungry before meals is a novel experience
On regular LC my brekkie at 6.30 would easily last me until 12.45 when I have lunch. Now (this week) I've started to feel peckish around 12.00. I just think, 'nearly lunch time' and forget all about it
I really like this Dukan thing but there's a lot of prep involved like regular LC

What is your typical days meals on Dukan please? If this going higher this week doesn't work then I may have a rethink and it is good to know your options.
My grandson left school yesterday, age 11, and we have had 5 boys staying over. They didn't turn out until 2 . I am very tired today as they were in the next room to mine. Must try to be good and not eat anything as I normally do when very tired.
sistercas - well done on your loss
Have a good day everyone, I think that the sun is here at last :j0 -
Despite not sticking to the Induction menu I have managed to lose 1lb
0.5" off my waist and 0.5" off my bust. Really pleased with that. Didn't expect to lose anything after the last few days eating chocolate & toast. I have been and will be for the next week be eating less until my gum heals. Don't think I will be able to eat much meat, so will try to concentrate on chicken & perhaps tuna, whatever soft things I can find. Also been told not to do strenuous exercise until everything heals so no callanetics this week:(

A gorgeous & sunny good morning to everyone :hello:
Congratulations to Mercy & sister on the weight losses!! :j:j Keep it up girlies!! I had a look at the Dukan book & am going to consider it if I start floundering on LC.
Talking of flounderingI had a very fishy afternoon yesterday. Leftover prawns, alias' fishy concoction for dinner & I remembered to take my cod liver oil tablets!! :rotfl:
Having a bbq tonight & a sit around the chimnea - can't wait
B - 2 egg gruyere omelette & 2 rashers of bacon
L - 2 buttered GG crispbreads with topping, chopped vine tomatoes
D - bbqd chicken/red onion/mushroom/tom kebabs, grated cauli & cheesy leek combo
Right, I'd better get my brekkie sorted as I'm starting to feel the rumblings of hunger.
SHEILA, hope you catch up on your sleep tonight!!
Happy LC days everyone :wave:0 -
durham, congratulations on the weight & inch loss - see, you can do it!! :T0
