I'm on black coffee Jerry, also out of cream. Had one white coffee with a dash of milk first thing but I have to watch the milk as it stops me losing and I'm trying very hard to be a good girl.

I LOVE that chocholate from Lidl, fortunately we don't have a Lidl over here so I don't have easy access to it, but my parents always have a few bars of it in their fridge, am visiting them this weekend, will have to try very hard not to snaffle any!

    Morning peeps.

You could always sent that greek yogurt my way sock-knitter :D I'm waiting on an Asda delivery now, and I've run out.

BTW, I meant Atkins advantage crackers, not crispbreads :o

I only tried them once, and I'd rather eat a bike tyre.

Morning. We have the sun in Dorset!!!
Feeling bleughhhh today as we went to friends for a meal last night and although the main was LC, I had a dessert, which seems to have made me feel a bit hung over today (I drank sparkling water!!). Does sugar do that???
    Anyway
    B-egg, mushroom and haloumi
    L-Salad,avocado,salami
    D-????

Have a lovely day, hope the sun makes it where you are.

Sock-knitter, I have lost lots of weight on the Idiot Proof diet and have eaten Greek yogurt regularly. If you want to be really strict you can avoid it for the first fortnight to do the Carb Cleanse but then I am sure you can use some, in moderation, especially if you use the Total one, it is very low in carbs.

Marrbett, yes sugar makes us feel bleeeeurghhh, it gives a sort of "hangover" if you are not used to it. I feel the same this morning as last night I made the fatal error to bake an apple and walnut cake for the family and ate 4 slices. Not a good idea. Today back on course hopefully, but the feeling of bloatedness and low energy stay with me for a few days afterwards whenever I stray.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
  • Another IPD fan here, which reminds me I've got the cookbook as well, will have to dig it out & have a look at some recipes.

Gray, never heard of Atkins advantage crackers either - tbh I've never bought anything 'Atkins' when I've been lcing. Probably just as well if the crackers taste worse than a bike tyre!!

Jerry, hope the fibroid pain has eased off.

Is SHEILA at the Drs. today?? Fingers crossed everything ok.

Oops, did anyone ever find out how many carbs there were in a [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] box of red wine? It's still distinctly like the morning after the night before _pale_. And it was a school night :naughty:

Thank you for the recommendation of the Neris and India book, I've ordered it and the cookbook in the hope of finding things which the rest of the family will eat without asking where the 'real food' is :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for Sheila having good results.

Just back from town. I ventured into Julian Graves looking for some bits and pieces. They are in administration so are having a 50% off everything sale! Loads and loads of bargains in there, I noticed that all of the Atkins bars and Shakes are included in this as is the easi-yo and they had stacks of nuts, spices, flax and snacks. Well worth a trip to stock up if there is one near you. I try not to eat the atkins stuff as pretty much anything sweet gives me carb cravings. I did however buy a few of the hazelnut chocolate bars as I'm travelling a lot this weekend, seeing my parents and then working on my rental house in the UK and I don't want to get caught out and end up eating serious contraband! My Mums a bit of a 'Mrs. Doyle' when I visit ... 'ah go on, you will have wine/chocolate/fish and chips, you will, you will, you will!' lol, she means well but I now understand why I was a bit chubby as a child!

Hope you're all having a good day. Off to make dinner, really looking forward to my sea bass.

Daska, it varies but on average about 20g carbs per standard bottle, there's 4 bottles in a 3 litre box!
