Looking good hunni! Lots of 'normal'! No aneamia! don't completely understand the rest! All seems nicely done though, hun. :j

Never thought I'd be happy to be normal till I had a lot of tests :) Now :D:D:D to be normal :rotfl:

    Good for you! :T

Bossymoo- I am going to give cauliflower mash a go lol last time I tried/was forced to eat cauli was donkeys years ago but I am going to be brave and give it a try!

I do the supplements too (currently B complex, vitamin D, omega fish oils, zinc) My youngest also takes a whole host of supplements too including vit D(initally prescribed because of steroids being taken) but just buy off the shelf now.
Well I have weighed in this evening and have lost 4lb, which isn't too bad all things considered, especially bearing in mind that my idea of low carb was to give up bread/pasta/rice/potatoes etc lol. If I can get my head around doing it properly next week(and don't get sick to death of salmon/tuna/eggs/mushrooms/salad maybe I can improve on this. Feeling quite focussed at moment but tomorrow is another day ;)

sistercas -glad that the blood results are good :)

devildog - well done on the weight loss, good luck with sticking to it. :T My experience is that you need to find some meals that you enjoy to keep on this so keep trying different things until you do. My veg curry contains cauliflower, courgette, 1/4 carrot, onion (1/3), garlic, celery and a quarter can of tomatoes. I also throw in anything else that is going out of date and sometimes a few cashew nuts or an egg. I usually make more and keep for another day.

murphydog - was on 50 carbs up to Christmas and then stopped losing. Went lower and now back up again this week. Exercise is a bit hit and miss at the moment. I walk a bit as I don't drive, have done some gardening though nothing heavy but I get tired easily some days. Had a lot more energy up to the last few months and want it back again.

Mercy - good to see you posting :)

It's worth sticking with it as the more exercise you do, the more energy you will have, you will also sleep better, and it will help with any lack of bowel movement problems - if you know what I mean ;)

I know the weather doesn't help at the moment, but it WILL help your overall health, and bone density, as well as your weight. I've been in this industry for 20 years and can pretty much guarantee that fact.

I know that you are right and don't sit around all day, just feeling a bit sluggish sometimes, I guess due to the low thyroid. I sleep quite well now but wake fairly early still. As the weather picks up I hope to walk more and will swim a bit on holiday.
    Thanks for the advice :)

If you do decide to order fron USA, do remember £18 is limit for avoiding import tax.

Not any more, I'm afraid. The limit has been reduced to just £15. That includes the post and packing cost too.

Any more than £15 total and you may have to pay VAT, possibly import duty, and last but not least, the Post Office's £8 handling fee as well.

    Hi Sheila!

Still just floating around here even though I'm being increasingly good.

B - 2x jamie saus, mex fudge toms
L - mex fudge, jamie saus, toms and lots of chinese lettuce
Eve - White fish and mushy peas.

I know that mushy peas are big carb. 1 tin of 300g = 39.3g but all taken in total I'm still likely under 50g.

More than I'd normally be used to but I've been eating a bit of choc lately but not today. So this is positively virtuous :)

    And very yummy.
