    Hi all!

Had my 1ce a year lasagne and it was very nice - Dad does a great one :)

I will not hamper these festive occasions by insisting anything at all. I can actually cope so why should my oldsters have something else to deal with? They already do a veggie one for the veggies :) I passed on the cheesy garlic bread, mind :rotfl:

It's been a great day with the family.

Hope you all have had a great Easter!

(Mum's a Christian and little Bro (26) couldn't help saying Jesus must be a zombie - LOLs  Mum just asked 'how very dare you?' She's ace :))

    Much love to you all

Mercy, glad you enjoyed your lasagne. Your family sounds like mine , a mixed bunch but great fun most of the time.

Supposed to be having an Easter Egg hunt in the woods today but weather looks suspicious. I must try to keep away from chocolate :o

Cooking gammon and chicken for the family today so that I have some left overs. I wish that I had a bigger freezer as there are some great offers at the moment.

Have fun and a good day everyone

Morning all, actually i think there's just the five of us atm.

Raining here too today, nice to see a bit of rain tbh.

Yesterday was just another Sunday for me, only see some family at xmas, we've kinda lost touch.

I did well all day and after dinner and a snooze i woke up dying for some choc and a cuppa, so i went with it, today is another day indeed :)

Been invited to the cinema for a meal then a few drinks with friends but i have declined, partly due to lc and partly due to finances.

Have been wanting a spiraliser since they were mentioned on here, but since checking things out on youtube, a simple julienne potato peeler is all i really need for courgette spaghetti.

Ah well, the ironing is calling, have a nice, if rainy, day ;)

mazzers - chucking it down here as well. Will you be baking today?

sistercas - like the look of that so may have to get one!

If anyone has low thyroid do you have flax? Some websites say it is contraindicated and others to include it.

Getting ready to cook my gammon and chicken but tired so think I'll grab 40 winks whilst family are out.

    hiya

well, after a few weeks of not really watching what i ate but not going too bad. I am back doing it properly. Need to be stricter as my asthma started playing up a bit. So was good over weekend as we went away (except for alcohol and sweets and choccy :o) and have lost lb. :j

Taking kids to soft play later and then out for food so will have to choose carefully. Might just get a huge steak and fill up on that! :D

ive never heard of avoiding flax when you have a thyroid problem - sorry not much help

ive been to meadowhall shopping with DD1 and we decided to have lunch , its really hard to find a low carb option , its all pizza, burgers, jacket spuds , sandwiches , i ended up getting 'chinese ' 3 choices for £4 something , i had chicken satay skewers, dry ribs and chicken strips , i think they thought i was mad when a didnt want rice or noodles or sauce with it . it was quite nice actually.

ive also found the shops tempt you with tasters , i find that really difficult and did have a choccy in hotel chocolat but avoided the cinnamon sugar pretzel and then the giant chocolate button as we were passing th0rnt0ns. you have to be on your guard

I saw that online, cheapest one too, unfortunately there's not a lakeland for 20 miles so might pop to the kitchen outlet for one.

Sheila i had forty winks too, am going to make bread and have cooked some finest burgers (which are/were half price) got courgette bol there for later.

Not heard about flax/thyroid either sorry.

Hi y'all ! The Canadian lobsters and duck from Lidl out of the freezer didn't defrost in time so OH nipped out and got a lamb joint for £4 was yummy.

I had Kelly's clotted cream ice cream with Rodda clotted cream and grated Lindt 90% on top last night watching a movie but I was bad today and had bombay mix oops.

Not heard about flax/thyroid either sorry.

catch you all wed have a great Easter xx
