Was good yesterday but at some water crackers in the evening, after red wine which was prob. more than my whole daily carb intake should've been lol

B: 2 little slices flaxbread toast with butter (~2g)
    L: Couple of chicken pieces/portions, 8 Brazils (~3g)
T: Lamb steaks, swede mash, broccoli (~10g?)

O: Tea, coffee, 4 pints water/green tea+lemon juice, s/f gum, Atkins endulge, ~5 crackers + butter... (~22g). Oops, nearly forgot the vino tinto! We shared a bottle, so I must've had ~3 glasses, at ~4g each...

    Total carbs: ~50g.. _pale_

Exercise: N/a (though I did do a little run up a hill 'cause of the rain. Heh)

    Morning all. *waves*

Week 1 officially over. Week 2 starts today. Lost 9lbs in total. BUT most of the 1st week was TOTM so I reckon most if not all of that loss was water.

You're all skinny biatches (said lovingly) compared to me. :( I had lost a fair bit last time (mostly through stress :rotfl:) but a calm boring existance has drawn the poundage back to my @ss. :D

I am/was 5' 6" too but I think I might have shrunk to 5' 5.5" now. :undecided Maybe carrying all that extra weight has compacted me. :rotfl:

I don't want to put what I weigh on here, too many nosy/nasty people on the go imo (I don't mean anyone on this thread, just folks eleswhere who would have a go). I'm a Scorpio, as cynical as Hell. :D Suffice to say I need to lose more than you. :(

I'm only a 10 on the bottom half but 10-12 on top due to boobs and belly :(
I'd love to be 8 stone but will settle for 9 and a size 11 :)

Dont quote this as i'll prob remove it later on as i dont want my weight on here for eternity ;)

Thought I'd give you a helping hand.

Look how thin you are already.:rotfl:

    Hi

alias well done 9lb is great:T

I started out at 20 stone last year and would never have told anyone I was that big!. Lost lots of weight to start with but much slower now but still nearly 6 stone on 9 months.

Like you I felt bad about myself but, seeing the weight come off, really helped;)

Have shrunk also as I was 5ft 5 but now seem to be 5ft 3 ish, it's age as the discs dry out in our spines and we get shorter. Ain't that great:( I have no intentions of going by the weight I should be for 5ft 3 as it doesn't seem fair. I had a 4 week stall in January where I lost nothing but have adjusted it and it is slowly moving again. Weigh day tomorrow.

Now trying to fine tune and use recipes to keep the diet interesting. If I have to eat this way for life then so be it as I feel so much better not eating carbs.

You really can do it you know and will feel so much better about yourself when you have to buy new clothes.

mazzers I am a size 18 - 20 on top and 20 - 22 on bottom so you are smaller than me. Clothes sizes seem to vary so much from shop to shop.

    Have a good day:)

    Hi All,

All this baring your soul .... I've been MIA for a few days as lost my way a bit, but you are all so inspirational that I MUST get back. Today is a write off, so from tomorrow I'll be back on the bandwagon - I feel so much better when lcing that I don't know why I sabotage myself.

I am 5'7 and weigh far too much, not getting on the scales now for a while, so don't know exactly. I lost 3 st lcing and then put most of it back gradually. I know what I need to do, but don't think I eat enough fats, so I'm going to reread the books and do better.

Keep at it, you are all doing so well.

That's fantastic. Now just think, if you'd gone on The Biggest Loser you might have won some money with that loss. :D 9 months is good going.

Well I couldn't be faffed shopping today so there's slim pickings in them there cupboards. :D

I pan fried a diced chicken breast and opened a jar of balti sauce and threw 3 or 4 spoonfuls over it. It was only 6.9g of carb per 100g so not the end of the world I think.

Really have to go shopping tomorrow, I'm feeling guilt at my lack of veg intake. :o

Thank you all for your encouragement re weight loss.:) It has taken me a while to get used to living low carb but now it is easier as I have recipes that I enjoy under my belt, some found on this website. Needs some planning but I always double up on my meals and keep one for another day. I also keep a cooked chicken, some cheese and nuts around in case I get peckish. Little gem lettuce with chicken, cheese and mayo rolled up makes a good snack, or nuts. I also have something put by when I need a sweet fix - Lidl's equivalent of baileys in coffee, almond pancakes with berries and cream, mixed nuts with a strip of chocolate, all between 6 and 12 carbs.

Still have a way to go but I have always been big / fat and it is nice when people notice that you have lost weight.

sistercas - nice to hear from you but sorry that you had a bad weekend:(
We all binge from time to time so don't beat yourself up

aliasojo - curry is fine but I need veg with mine. Go shopping quite often so I have what I need and it gets me out the house

Minihauk - I eat quite a lot of fat as cheese and cream are my sources of calcium.

mazzers - how was work today?

hannojah - how was your day?

We can do it and being fat gives me low self esteem so it will be good emotionally as well.

Breakfast - handful nuts as I was out for lunch

Lunch - chinese buffet - thai green curry, stir fried veg, crispy seeweed, chicken satay and small peice melon for dessert. Mineral water to drink.

Evening - almond pancakes as above.

That is amazing loss Sheila :T
Work was ok, told them i'm leaving as my other job is more interesting.
Everyone else seems to be enjoying it but i suppose it depends what job you left behind.
Glad i went tho, lovely people :)

Gone over my window by 2 hours today as i got in rather late, so will give weighing a miss for a few days.

I've shrunk too, 5' 5.5'' now but refuse to accept it ;)

In bed now, been a long day but 2 days off now :j
Then back to the usual on Thur :j <<< never thought i'd do that :D

Not bad thanks Sheila. Eating and exercise back on track which makes me feel better. Took the boys swimming tonight so feeling proud of myself. Normally can't bear the thought of being seen wearing so little!

I did put up my 'stats' for you this morning, but chickened out and took them down after a while :o

What nuts do you eat? I've grown rather fond of Brazils, since they seem to be pretty low carb.. I do munch quite a bit of cheese too. Think nothing of nibbling a few cubes whilst making food for the others.

You really have done brilliantly. And to keep on going when you stall is fantastic! :)

Cas. So sorry you're having a rough time atm. As others have said, don't beat yourself up. Looks like you know how to handle it though: a bit at once, whatever you can cope with. You'll get back into it soon enough, and be making us smile again with your lovely posts :)

Had a nice walk in the woods today. Haven't been in there for months (too squishy) but there was a lovely wind this morning, and I love the energy it whips up: makes the woods a great place to be. Wasn't expecting company but bumped into a fellow dog walker who I haven't walked/talked with for a while, so made a nice change. Our dogs had a nice time adventuring together too :D

Oh, I see Mazzers is here too now, so I'll pop up my info briefly again: 9 hours was enough
