    Afternoon peeps

just had a nice brekkie of bacon, shrooms, buttered scramblies and sausages :D I`m stuffed now.

Dinner will be ham salad sandwich and tea will be keema mince, i`ve made enough for two days for both of us and i`ve varied the recipe a bit this time and i don`t think that its anywhere near as nice, next time will change it back.

    Mazzers
    - Glad to hear that the IF is working well for you, my fasting day is looming (Tuesday) and i`m actually looking forward to it :D

Alias - :j Great loss, re the steak i usually buy the packs of beef strips from Morri$ons - about 8 in a pack and flash fry them with some powdered BBQ seasoning. I love em but they can be tough if overcooked - also like them in the slowcooker with a tiny bit of liquid.

Hanno - LOL @ the gin, i always get the munchies after the booze.

I`m still up a pound and then down a pound so i shall see what i weigh around Thursday when i`ve adjusted after the cheat day and fast day.

I have some serious reading to do and i`m struggling for time as per usual. DH has received his blood test results and has to go back to the docs to discuss them, the one thing that he has been told is that he is positive for RA :(

If i disappear for a little while then its due to lack of time but will keep on board and try to keep up. Think that DH will need a lot of support and adjustment over the coming weeks. I`ll certainly keep him lower carb as it is just starting to become routine and he seems to be doing well on it but i may have to replace some foods with others, i think that he may go back to having potatoes and brown rice one day per week each. I`ve already read so much and at the moment it is only partially sinking in and i know that DH won`t have read anything at all!

Hennywayz i`d best make a move as w*rk beckons.

    Have good days peeps

    Hi Everyone:wave:

Well done on the weight loss alias:T

hannojah - how r u doing? At least gin doesn't have carbs whereas my Baileys did.

Mazzers - hope you feel better soon but well done with the IF

Sunny - sorry to hear about DH. Hope that you can find time for us as we'd miss you.

sistercas - you can do it, we know you can. Maybe you should try the bingeing for 2 days and then going very low carb for 5 if IF doesn't work for you?

Feeling a bit tired today and trying to get up enthusiasm for the exercise bike

My daughter wants me to go on a spa day for her birthday in April. Never done anything like that before and I cringe at the thought of stripping off. On the other hand, we don't always get on so I am pleased to be asked. Good incentive to keep low carbing I guess!!

Breakfast - 1 egg, 1 rasher bacon and mushrooms + 1 decaff coffee with cream - 2 carbs

Mid morning - handful nuts - 25g - 2 carbs according to the packet

    Lunch - chicken and cheese salad + 1 ryvita - 7 carbs

    Dinner not sure

Had cheesy leeks last night but the sauce, made with cream and cheese, made me feel sick. Think I will water it down next time. I had an almond pancake to settle it and that was yummy!! Everywhere seems to give a different count for ground almonds and cream but took the amount from the packet and container which are ga - 6.5 per 100g, cream 1.6 per 100ml.

sheila go with your DD you may really enjoy it , you deserve some pamper time . there are usually dressing gowns to cover up in at most spas. x

Sunny sorry to hear about DHs blood test , maybe lcing could really help him , it may reduce inflammation (((hugs))) to you both x

i'm certainly bingeing , been to town this afternoon to get out of the house 'cos they are all irritating me ( i know i am hormonal) and ended up buying a cuppa and a sausage roll from greggs :o think i will just forget about today and try again tomorrow

havent sorted anything for tea and i really cant be bothered to do anything either , i think its going to be 'freezer roulette'

Don't beat yourself up over the sausage roll and sherbet as a bad day can sometimes fool the system, as I have found. Love sherbet myself but with licorice. My grandchildren live with me so there are always sweets around but I usually manage to resist.

I have had 12 Easter eggs in my wardrobe since yesterday, Tesco 3 for 1 deal, and just hope that I can stop myself opening one of them as, once opened, it will have to be finished:D

Decided to have stuffed mushrooms & 1 low carb almond pancake with berries and cream for dinner - 9 carbs

Snack - strip dark chocolate - 4 carbs

Still have to use exercise bike so will go and do it now, I guess. hannojah - you have spurred me on as you always show how much you are exercising :)

190 cals burned, 8.5 kilometres covered. Not too bad.
