Nice looking loaf sistercas
Been rather tired and stressed last couple of days due to lots of training that isn't sinking in.. some of it is prob but doesn't feel like!!
Lovely place to work, very relaxed, good pay but not used to travelling far and it's taking an hour on the motorway instead of the usual 8-10min drive
Am there for 3 months so will know whether i like it by then and can return to my usual job/dept or maybe stay on (they will be recruiting in 3 months) so a win win situation
Still IF-ing, but not eating healthy meals in my 5 hours.. one step at a time tho.
Not had wind/heartburn either and been having crisps bread rolls and chocolate so find that rather strange, only lost 3.5 lbs so far but maybe when i eat healthier i'll get better results, although it said slow but steady losses of 1lb per week so here's hoping.
It's a revelation that i dont get that hungry tbh, i am ready for lunch after 18hrs but not so hungry 5hrs later although i do eat something as i wont be eating for another 18 hrs.
Been a fab day here too, lovely and sunny0 -
mazzers hope you settle into your new job soon , its always difficult at first, wouldnt fancy the journey though , im only 5 minutes from my work place
i am keeping up with IF too , did 18 hrs over last night and this morning , hoping it works 'cos my monday binge put me 2 lbs back on0 -
Sistercas that bread looks amazing!
I thought I'd been good today buy I've bloated up tonight, no idea why. I did have some bisto but that is pretty low carb. Really hoping for 2lb this week but I'm heading off into four nights away staying with friends and then family so I am going to try to stick to this diet but I don't want to be too fussy!0 -
B: 2 frankfurters & sauce (~2g)
L: Prawn cocktail, Romaine, chilli flakes (~3g)
T: 2 h/m fishcakes, big pile of cauli, good helping of asparagus. (?~12g..?)
O: T, coffee, 4 pints water/g-tea+lemon juice, couple s/f chewing gums, a hard boiled egg, 3 deBron wine gums, 2 squares 85% choc. (~8g)
Total carbs: ~25g..?
Exercise: 50 mins. walk, Callanetics.0 -
Nipped on quick before i leave to say i've lost another lb so it is working for me.
Strange no heartburn though as i had a sausage roll yesterday, a sure fire way of starting it, maybe eating regularly means constant acid production, whereas IF-ing stops acid for most of the time.
Anyway, gotta go, laters...0 -
Hi Peeps

BF - bacon, shrooms & scramblies
Dinner - Ham salad sandwich

Have good days everyone
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Spotted dripping in ASDA yesterday 59p and presumably this is very low carb - has anyone used it for cooking ?0

Alias - You gone again?
Lol, no I'm still here.
Brunch was a disaster today. I bought a bit of rump steak (not knowing the first thing about cuts of meat) and was having it with eggs and mushrooms.
I looked on the net before cooking it and everywhere said that rump is the toughest cut and loads of people don't buy it because it can be so tough.
I cooked it exactly as advised (I even timed it) and it was like shoe leather. Really tough and chewy and had no taste.
I ended up with eggs and mushrooms.
So peeps, what should I be buying if I want a bit of steak to go with my eggs and mushrooms?Herman - MP for all!0
