    :D I`m still awake lol

Little black cat is at least 11 years old, she was a rescued semi feral and is lovely but quite sharp and bitey too :D

Currently sat in front of me waving her tail ready to pounce on something invisible :rotfl:

Very recently she has taken to tormenting the younger dog and enticing her under the bed where the dog gets stuck and has to spend the night with little black cat tormenting her all night :rotfl:

Daft dog falls for it every time - 3 times already in the past week, she is just too big to be under there - mastiff x german shepherd, the bed is quite high but not high enough for such a big dog :D

Little black cat was weighed last week and is 15lb  Still easily the boss in this house :D

Yes sis, they're in the chiller :)

SD, i was pondering about that woe too, sounds good, but in reality you're never really clearing the carbs out of your system, so will probably be more hungry, dont think it's for me, a few carbs too many and it's the slippery slope.

Mercy, i get very phleghmy too, in fact, im always phleghmy, constantly have to clear my throat.. you've got me wondering now

Had second wind and made chicken curry and spicy burgers, i'm worn out now but can relax foodwise for the rest of the week.

Scottishf, i've not had any side effects from the gluten and imagine they are the same thing.

Need to catch up reading, but must get this down first:

    B: 2 frankfurters & Colac (1.4g)
L: A Tesco chicken sausage (~3g), few bits of cheese and a slice of ham (~1g)
T: Prawns, red cabbage, leek, mushrooms, a little chilli, fried in olive oil, slightly odd combination but with a little Paprika and Chinese 5 spice was rather tasty (~5g?).
Plus, I did a strawberry/banana flan for the boys and couldn't resist eating the remaining strawberries (~5g?) with a bit of banana (~8g?) and some cream.. (~1g) (Yumm!!)

    O: Tea, coffee, ~4 pints water/green tea & lemon, a s/f gum, a blackcurrant boiled s/f sweet. (~1g..)

    Total carbs: ~25g..?

Exercise: Dog walk, ~25 mins. belly dance cardio*, ~40 mins. Yoga.

EDIT: *First time I kept up with them the whole way through :j (Usually I have to go slower than them at a couple of bits in Part 3)

Also, can't believe how much I enjoyed the fruit and cream. I've never been a huge fruit fan, though strawberry and banana are at the top of my list. Normally something like fruit and cream would be something I might eat if I were on a diet or couldn't have something like cake or chocolate, but it was divine!

Have a lovely day peeps :D
  • Am very conscious that I smell like a fry up this morning!

Just found out I'm going to a meeting off-site with my boss - this means we stop at McDonalds for lunch. Am dreading ruining my diet. I guess I could not eat the bun but I don't want my boss to think I'm odd (only just started this job!)

I 'shredded' last night and my calves ACHE this morning.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Have
Grilled Chicken and bacon salad, only 6g carb;)

Hannoja - you are great doing all that exercise but where do you find the time?

Sunnyday - hi. I read about beating the stall by cheating for a couple of days and then going very low on one of the websites linked from low carb life. Guess we are all different but let us know if it works!

mazzers - more cooking, you are so good. I think that I will have a go at the almond meal pancakes today.

Reminder : must get some of the sausages that SD and mazzers are raving about

I made the flax chocolate brownies, 20 of them, the day before yesterday and they are all gone. My daughter, son in law and grandchildren live with me and have demolished the lot!!

Breakfast - scrambled egg, one ryvita and 1/2 low carb brownie that I salvaged from crumbs!

Great! Thank you so much - If I ever go I have the same thing every time so never really looked at the rest of the menu. Woohoo!

Very interested in the suggestion a few pages back about having a day or two of normal eating per week and lcing the rest of the time. I was wondering if doing this would help me kick start myself as even when i`m being good i`m no longer losing, i know about the inch loss even when this happens but i`m needing to do something to make me feel a bit more positive and stop me cheating.

I know it's not the same thing as "5 days LCing and 2 days off", but I read this yesterday and thought it might interest you,

    Hi Peeps :wave::wave:

I`ve been very good so far today.............except for the coffee :eek:

Brekkie was bacon, scramblies in butter and mushrooms, dinner was a snger on lc bread with pastrami and extra hot horseradish sauce *yum* Had a small 25g bar of dark choccy for afters :D

Tea - not really sure but will probably be the zero carb burgers with maybe some powdered BBQ seasoning and some form of veg.

I ended up with about three and a half hours of sleep last night - just couldn`t nod off so although i`ve kept off it for a few weeks i shoved the cafetiere and some coffee in a bag this morning and took them to w*rk, made three jugs and shared with a friend but i`ll bet this has done me no favours. On the plus side i did take cream in to have with it :D Shame really as this is the first day that i`ve not been bad with the food side of things in a while.

Super busy stressy type day so am struggling to wind down now, have just sat down with a cuppa as i managed to sneak away a bit early so i`ll catch up on a few threads.

I wondered about that too but was hoping that it may kick start me, i think that my bod gets used to this woe and then thinks "right i`m not parting with any more weight" and hangs on to it. If i can confuse it then it may work in my favour *fingers crossed* I do like planning ahead and routine as i need to be organised but if i can confuse my system into dumping some more weight i`ll be happy :D

I think that i`m going to try random days here and there so that i can fool my system without getting into a routine, i won`t go carb barmy on the days but will relax and have maybe one carby meal like pasta. I think i`ll try on Mondays and maybe Tuesdays when i`m either on a late shift or a day off and DH is off at the same time, if it works it would be good for a summer stroll to the pub for tea and a couple of beers :D

See, i`m planning ahead already :rotfl:
It probably wouldn`t work if i did it every week or every two weeks as my bod isn`t too good with being cheated - it cottons on quickly and digs the old heels in :D

Little black cat has just had some treats and is now running from one side of the room to the other - or should i say jumping onto one windowsill, back off then to the other side of the room and onto that windowsill at top speed with her ears back  Can`t see me getting much peace lol.

    Have fabby days everyone

Thanks for this Skymist - very interesting, i can actually go all day without food when i`m not on any type of diet and then once i actually have even a tiny nibble of something the floodgates open and i eat and eat and eat :rotfl:

This does only work at home though, when i`m at w*rk i seem to have some type of stress related condition that makes me want to force food down my throat when i`m not lcing :o Seriously i can eat loads and hardly realise that i`m doing it when i`m really busy, i wo*k in two different places though and in one i can do this and in the other i have no chance - good job lol.

If i eat at the right time though i can very happily eat just one meal per day, again only when i`m at home though - i think that its just me that wasn`t made right :rotfl:

I seem to remember reading a while back somewhere on the boards - maybe even on this thread about someone else talking about this one meal per day thing and fasting for the rest of the time. It might have been Eric Pisch although i`m not sure if he actually tried it or just wrote about it.

I`m always more active when i`ve not eaten, i tend to run around in a stressy kinda way and am much more productive.

OOps - rambling again :o:o I`ll shut up now :D

Well I weighed today and have lost precisely nothing:mad:

I have now decided to pay out for an exercise bike and try that to boost my metabolism. I get really peed off when this happens and had a stall for 4 weeks only recently so need to lose, as do we all, to keep motivated.

Mercy - I am also trying to keep wheat and gluten free but could murder a slice if buttered toast with marmite!

    Breakfast - as earlier

Lunch - chicken with lettuce, 1/4 avacado, cucumber and mayo + 1 ryvita

Snack - slice of cheese with a few nuts, 1 tbsp probiotic greek yoghurt and 1 decaff coffee.

Dinner - think I'll have low carb almond pancakes with a some berries and cream.
