Doing really good thanks Shelia. Positve Mental Attitude today, its been a while due to various things. Health and work all on the up! So I'm going away for work with 2 overnight stays and I've managed to pack enough items to make up a packed lunch for those two days! Yay! So relieved. I almost called off the business trip because I was unsure what I would eat! LOL Evening meals are fine, most places do a good steak and salad but it is the lunches that are problematic. Phew!

i wish I could get the gluten n make real bread, but I'm living gluten free for now.

Apparently there are many more people gluten intolerant, like lactose, than we know. All I know is what my body tells me. What I really need to learn is to listen and act on what it tells me. :rotfl:

But I've started. I know I'm wheat intolerant (blow up like the Pink Floyd Pig after just a bit) Feel better if I low carb which generally cuts out most gluten with emphasis on fat, protein and veg..

cows milk makes me phlegmy so I have goat's. And I'm fine :)

It's rubbish having intolerances but if you can find out what they are you can avoid them.

More seratonin is made in the gut than the brain - sort out your gut. Yeasts and all things evil crave sugar. When you start eating properly you may feel sugar cravings - but that's not you. That's your yeast / candida wanting it. Still those cravings - don't feed em for a month and you'll feel better all round, and you won't crave the same cos it's dying off and no longer has the power to make you eat stuff. Keep giving it a bit and it'll still be there, controlling you :)

Big health and low carb to all!

You don't have any control over what life throws at you.
You DO have control over how you react :)

    Hi Peeps

Sistercas  Mazzers  Minihauk  Hannoja:wave:

    everyone else :hello:

Before i forget Mazzers - I have those sausages from Aldi and love them - PP has them too IIRC, i used to always go for the fat sausages but not any more :D They are very nice.

Sistercas - I do the exact same amount of excersise as you :D

Had a huge cheat day today - i ate some real bread :o thought that i might as well since my colleague managed to stuff danish pastries down my throat and i ate two whole bags of nuts :o

Very interested in the suggestion a few pages back about having a day or two of normal eating per week and lcing the rest of the time. I was wondering if doing this would help me kick start myself as even when i`m being good i`m no longer losing, i know about the inch loss even when this happens but i`m needing to do something to make me feel a bit more positive and stop me cheating.

I usually only struggle at certain times during my cycle and crave carbs only a few days per month but it seems that i may be approaching the "uncertain" times so that would probably explain why i`m struggling and seem to have lost my mojo a bit, that and the stupidly busy lifestyle that i`ve been leading the last few weeks are taking their toll methinx.

In theory if i look forward to a couple of "cheat" days per week then i should be able to stay on the straight and narrow the rest of the time? What do you all think? I`m thinking that the cheat days would be the only days that i`m allowed certain things like booze and maybe a pasta meal for a change. Usually when i`m on late shift i come home and make the dreaded hot choc with brandy and double cream but now the hot choc and brandy are finished, i`ve discovered that i can make a version using bourneville cocoa powder with just boiling water from the kettle and double cream.
This is better for me lc wise but if i can shove it onto two set days per week i may manage to kick start myself.

Also if make the two days the same as DH`s two days off then i can keep them together and stop wanting to belt him with the frying pan when he starts pouring out wine and eating crisps :D

Mercy - Glad to see that you are your normal positive self again. :j

Tis very quiet here atm, DH has taken the woofaloes away fishing so i`m left with my little black [STRIKE]evil monster raving mad[/STRIKE] cat, she turns into a different cat once she is away from the hounds and is running around like a loony and biting the rug  I know that she will be like this most of the night so m will probably hide under the duvet as i have a 4am start in the morning lol.

Gers - Where are you? Hope that you`re doing well!

Right i`ve rambled on long enough now - see once i start i can`t shut up :D:p

    Be good peeps

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

While peeling the leeks i realised that when unrolled, the large ones would make a good lasagne sheet substitute, not sure if it would actually work but will def give it a go.

    thats genius :T

Had some gorgeous sausages from Aldi, long curly skinny ones, which i prefer, not cheap at £1.99 per pack but there is 10 of them, 0.5g per 100g, very meaty.

    .

must try these sausages are they in the chiller cabinet?

sunny good to hear from you , we have a cat that has a mad half hour, she darts round the living room duffing up pieces of paper or pens or anything really :rotfl:

    My cats are older - 16 n 14 - they don't do much except complain :)

One follows me about shouting, I have to develop subtle ways of shaking him off for a bit :) It even happens after good feed, lots of 'us' time and treats :) Think he's got alzheimers, he forgets he's just shouted at me already :)

All that said, don't think I'd cope with kittens :rotfl:
