Evening all
Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing? Big hugs to all those who need one :grouphug: esp. Pink and Sarah. It is very hard to remember what a good day feels like when you feel like you're swimming in a sea of carp on a bad day  We all know how that feels  I'm very glad we all have MSE and the DFWs here to help us feel like we're not maybe quite so alone and isolated as maybe before. I for one have felt the support in the short time I've been hanging around these parts and I'm sure it will continue to help:T
It is hard to remember what a good day feels like sometimes, but the support on here is fabby and I am really glad I started this thread, it's nice to know I am not the only shopaholic attempting to reform and everyone understands and offers support and doesn't judge. It is hard but I am determined to sort this, I want my own house by 40, hopefully before that.Somewhat relieved that I don't have a Pier store anywhere near me

If you look on Ebay there are some real bargains to be had. A chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables and a mirror that would all originally cost £600 is going for £25 pick-up only. I saw it at the time but couldn't afford it.0

Morning All :hello:
Hope everyone's had a nice snooze.. I've had a lovely lie-in, so now its time to get organising my garden if it has dried out enough for me to tackle the jungle of grass!! SAA meetings would be helpful careful not to get the Shopping Addicts Anonymous group mixed up with the other SAA meeting next door..! Mmm I have been single for 4 years so don't think I'd qualify :rolleyes:FeeFee

Today is job application day today! God I hate having to do it, but needs must.
I've just finished a bit of study and a long lie. Will have a shower soon and then get something to eat when parent goes out. Then can start applying.0 -
Hi
I've been a reader of these forums for a while now and decided to bite the bullet and join in. As I am single and in debt, I wondered if I could join your thread?
I'm 28 and I have credit card debts of about 3.5k. I have savings too which would more than cover it, but I know I'm better at paying off debt than saving so although it might not make much sense I am trying to keep hold of my savings. I did move 1k over to one credit card cos the interest was stupid, so I guess technically my debts are 2.5k, but I want to replace the 1k into my savings so I need to make that back. The savings which I've worked really hard to accumulate are to do essential work on my house. It has very bad damp and if I'm honest is a complete hole. I hate living here, so I have to save enough to get it sorted out.
I thought I'd join this thread to try and keep myself on the straight and narrow as I seem to be attempting to live a champagne lifestyle on a baked beans budget. I've been putting things on one side to sell on ebay and I've also been looking to do matched betting. Has anybody had a go at this?
GwenxThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
