Hmm. I have thought about that but at the moment I don't really feel I want to, I am feeling too fat and a bit down in the dumps. I think it would be a fun thing to do at some stage though.

But you are doing it now, so be thankful for that. Be grateful that you have already had your LBM and are trying to sort it. I know it's hard, I would be nice and comfy in my own house with a nice car if I hadn't got into this mess, but what's done is done. The important thing is getting it sorted out. And you will, so don't panic. If you want chocolate go to the shop with £1 so you can;t get anything else, leave your cards at home.
True, I just wish that it had been a real LBM back in November when I first started posting. I would have got my debt down to £17K by now if it had been a true LBM.
I'm going to use the last two end pieces of bread and put nutella and jam on them and some tea, that should provide some sweetness!
Have picked out £9 from my terramundi and lent it to my dad so he can have a drink tomorrow. He will give it back to me on Monday, but he's looking so down, I feel bad for getting grumpy with him.
Tomorrow will be a job hunting day. Persevere (ha ha nearly wrote something else there)!!!! :rotfl:0 -

Hey Yargo,
I'm ok thanks, probably been in a bad mood today because I was staying with my aunt and she went out at 9am. About 10 minutes later the neighbour was battering on the door to get their car out the drive but I was in a pair of shorts and camisole, no way was I answering the door! Ok now though. Played squash earlier so that helped.
I'm in Glasgow now. A meet up would be good. Don't know if I will be able to afford it but if I can actually manage to get a job rather than coming second each time I would definitely come along! :j
p.s. good bargains!!!0 -
I do this all the time.:o I must get this cafetiere/lamp/vase/bookcase/pan/wine glasses/bedding etc now, as it is such a bargain and it will save me money now because I won't have to pay the full price for it later. The upshot of this is that I could probably furnish a house now. I just can't afford one.
Ha ha, you remind me of me (again). I have the furnishings of a house but my house is too far away to furnish! Hence I am surrounded by stuff from The Pier and have a leather sofa and flat screen telly set up in my childhood bedroom! It's like a bedsit!
I do all of the must have it now things. When The Pier closed I bought 12 wine glasses, 1 mosaic mirror, 1 xmas garland, 1 sideboard and 1 leather chair! They are all packed up in boxes!!! :rotfl::eek:0 -

I only bought a few glasses and a few other bits and bobs, really wanted the mosaic mirror but they had sold out. I can't find a shop which seems to sell the same sort of stuff, especially the wine glasses, I do miss those. I have 2 lovely ones wrapped up for my new home:o but I know they won't last, am always dropping wine glasses. If anyone knows of another place which sells equally lovely glasses please let me know, I will pay a visit in 3 months time:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

I know, I think I went into a blind panic when I saw it was closing down. I wanted a Pier mirror, had one once, but my ex said take it back or we split up, so I took it back.
No idea where sells similar stuff. The stuff was beautiful.0 -
Evening all
Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing? Big hugs to all those who need one :grouphug: esp. Pink and Sarah. It is very hard to remember what a good day feels like when you feel like you're swimming in a sea of carp on a bad day  We all know how that feels  I'm very glad we all have MSE and the DFWs here to help us feel like we're not maybe quite so alone and isolated as maybe before. I for one have felt the support in the short time I've been hanging around these parts and I'm sure it will continue to help:T
Pink, hang onto your flat if you can, I'm sure it gives you strength in subtle ways to achieve that. Go easy on yourself and your dad, frustration is only natural but you are doing what you can to improve your situation and for that you deserve a big round of applause :T Make the most of good days - they help you ride out the bad  I have all my fingers and toes crossed for some cracking weather where you are so that you can don those gorgeous sounding shoes and strut your funky stuff*cue small-ish amount of shoe envy* Can you invite us all to your housewarming when you get sorted cos it sounds like its gonna be an uber stylish pad
Somewhat relieved that I don't have a Pier store anywhere near me.. even more relieved that those mucking bunts wouldn't give me anymore credit cards etc ( tho I spent about 12 months cursing the lovelies..!)
Again big hugs, wishing you all sweet dreams of desert islands, expensive champagne, chocolate and a gorgeous mute dishy boy :rotfl::rotfl:FeeFee

I will definitely invite you all! There will be a Pier wine glass for each of you. I know what you mean, I was so annoyed when my bank wouldn't increase my overdraft (after it went from 1800 to 2800 in about 3 months). Now I am glad. If only they hadn't given me the other £15K. I'm now very much thinking the banks should have given out about a quarter of credit that they did to people. It's mostly their faults I think (with the rest of the fault on us that spent it admittedly).
Falls off soapbox
Big hug to you back. The dishy boy sounds good, if he has a box of Marks & Spencers chocolate limes and a glass of Bombay Sapphire and tonic with a slice of lime, he can talk away till his wee heart is content!0 -

I agree wholeheartedly:D I don't need someone who is mute, just someone who agrees with everything I say:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
