I think you have been listening to the whirrings of my sad and economising brain.
I have spent about 15 minutes fretting that I bought two smoothies, one of which was not on offer, so I have wasted £2.49. It's not good, but equally, it isn't that much of a crime. I have now told myself firmly to get a life. :rolleyes:0 -

You weren't the one out buying a shopping trolley and forgetting to buy fabric softner (which was what I went out for)

So easily done, although I am usually the one who walks up to the bedroom then forgets what I went there for - good exercise though - 2 flights up, 2 down, rinse and repeat with the item I needed in the first place.
Haven't yet gone for the trolley, although I have been known to trundle my wheelie case when needed. Btw, what is it about people that they have to turn and look when someone is wheeling a case? It may be a bit loud, but I think we have all seen a case before...? Do they do the same with a trolley?

However, I am going to take you - gently - to task for one of the assumptions you are making about not wanting to meet anyone now because you are not the real you. Have I not noticed a kind, thoughtful, understanding person who has been helping everyone else here with sound advice, and has a wicked sense of humour? If he who is to arrive in freshly polished armour can't see beyond some extra poundage and a not quite ideal home, then there isn't much under the armour. A shallow knight is for fun, not forever...
Aww, thankyou hollyberry. I hope he who is to arrive is wearing x-ray specs as he will have to see past a lot of poundage.I know what you mean, I just feel I am more "me" when I am slimmer.
In other news here, have decided to go with voluntary redundancy rather than taking my employer to tribunal. Feel way, way better with the decision made and I went out for a meal with some friends last night, and slept all night for the first time in ages. I am now so old I actually enjoy sleeping. That is scary. I will be interested in what my neighbours are doing next.
The fact that you are sleeping properly means you have made the right decision for you, it must be a real weight off your mind, glad you are feeling better. I look forward to lots of nosey neighbour updates:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
