    Hi

Loads to catch up on! First of all, what are MBT shoes?? The other girl sounds crazy, makeup, but good for you for not backing down.

Sarah - Exciting job news! Let us know how you get on.

Lula - I've been on POF for a while and I have to say my experience hasn't been good (I didn't like to tell you though in case I influenced your view of it). I think it varies though in different areas. My friend is on her second boyfriend from there (although she also nicknamed it 'Plenty of Freaks'). I have to say I've had more freaks than fish unfortunately, but internet dating is a funny thing. Get out there though and meet some of these fab men. If they can't see how fab you are, then it's their loss. Go for it!

I am proof this evening that you definitely shouldn't go grocery shopping while hungry. I only needed about 6 things. I came back with 4 bags from Tesco and 1 from M&S :o. To be fair I'm sure I will use it all, but I'm going to have to make sure I do and don't go out and buy more stuff for the rest of the month.

Quidco sent me an email. I got all excited that my cashback had arrived. It has. 50p! 50 s0dding pence. What about the 50 quid in there?? Hmmmpf. I'm also still waiting for my Halifax cashback and the time period they said they'd pay me in has elapsed, so I'm going to have to call up about that. Grrr

Yes, really i am ... it's bizarre & I havent even done a search myself, these are just men who message me.

Of course they're all bullsh!itters but hey :D

dont get me wrong, there are some right dodgy ones & a fair few slimeballs but it is so flattering to have someone tell you nice things... particularly when as crunk as a skunk :rotfl:

God all I've ever had is the latter. The absolute worst was a guy in his late 50's (I'm in my 20's) who wanted to chat to me. I had a little chat while I checked out his profile. It was only then that I realised how old he was. I tried to be polite about it and said that I was sure he was a lovely bloke, but I was really looking for somebody a bit younger and I hoped he didn't mind. He then said that I'd been very naughty and he might have to put me over his knee  I said I had to go at that point and he kept messaging me, saying that he might have to punish me and that he was an ex-university lecturer (!!!!!! has that got to do with anything??). I was tempted to reply asking if he'd been sacked for sexual harrassment, but feared what sort of 'punishment' I might have to receive for that. Dirty old man.

    *rushes to check quidco*

£121 :D:j:j:j Although very oddly it should have been £125 ish, another £4 is showing as paid but is not included in the total. Hmmm. I am pleased about the money but peeved about the error. I will have to put a claim in again now. Grrrr.

Really? The label m one has saved my hair. It's amazing. I'm sure I don't need to have my hair cut so often because it keeps it in better condition. Helps aswell cos I'm trying to grow it.

Never tried OK Cupid. Might have to check that out.

    Must go to bed too.

    Hi everybody :hello:

Have been really busy with work stuff so have not had time to post but have been keeping an eye on you all

Sarah - good luck on the job front, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. You know I'm not very 'self helpy' but I have always agreed with the one about 'always doing the same thing always gets the same results'

Lula - you go girl! :D As everybody has said, you are F Fabulous and if any gut cannot see that he does not deserve you

Hope everybody is Ok and managing to get some sleep - it's too hot and sticky here!

    Shoe Gal x :D

    :hello: Hiya

OH's net connection is still poorly, so I am sharing mine at the moment, hence my absence at night when OH's muse is working overtime.

This is not the time of year to have long hair. I am so tempted to go and get mine shorn, as it's like sleeping under a blanket...although hanging it out of the top of the bed seems to be working quite well. Hope it's not too hot and sticky where you are.

Lula - I am not surprised that your f fabulousness is being recognised. ;) Enjoy yourself, my lovely, and remember that your "worth" is in who you are, not what you have - and you have that in abundance. :A :D Now go forth and fish with care, and remember that we SAIDs wanna know ALL about it.

gwen & Buffy - as you seem to have used up your quota of daft ones, let's hope that the remaining fish are a lot better...

Take care of yourselves, and special commiserations to anyone who has to venture onto sticky buses, Tubes or trains today.
