Bowski: The image of you driving along with one arm shoved inside the door holding your window up made me giggle.
I'm totally avoiding my ex now, no more Laura for me. Until October at least haha.
I've signed my rental contract for next year... I need to transfer nearly £500 back to the UK on the 1st July to pay for July/August.
Well done on the weight loss ladies, you're all bloomin marvellous! The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

Bowski the electric monitors read how much electricity your using, and when you switch something on it tells you how much electric for an hour then a month, I whizzed round the house turning stuff off, the only thing left on is the fridge and I can't do anything about that. So what with the monitor and the water meter I've knocked those bills down a bit.
Well done everyone on the weight loss, I can't diet cos as soon as I try I want to eat everything, so I go out for a walk.0 -
I'd like to get one of those electricity meters. My flatmate is American and he is so profligate with resources! Every flipping light is on in the house, he is the only one who regularly uses the shaver light in our bathroom and it is always on. When I go in to turn it off, it is pumping out heat so although is only a small light, must be using a decent amount of energy!?
He also uses the dryer for everything, even though we have a garden with a rotary dryer and in the sun clothes dry in a couple of hours
Our leccy was an extra £60 over winter - all down to his electric heater!
Everyone is doing really well - those pounds are flying off!
And hurrah for Bowski's daughter - she must be so excited!! :j:j
I've got to have a tooth out tomorrow, they're doing at the hospital so at least is free but not looking forward to it at all! My appointment is early and I'm not going back afterwards (had a tooth out before and still remember how awful it is) so going to chill at home in front of tv and maybe sort something out like massive pile of mags or all my pics / tickets/ bits and bobs into scrapbooks.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Having teeth pulled is never fun, hope it all goes well! Just don't try not to eat until the anastheasia has worn off or you'll dribble a lot!The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Typical , first evening I get on here in ages & there's nobody home
Good luck for tomorrow makeup :grouphug:
My list of positives for today :
Paid money into the holiday fund so now have £300
Received £20 of vouchers in return for surveys completed
Received Boots points offers & £5 money off voucher
Only spent £23 in Tatco & £4.50 of that was on a bottle of wine, BUT it was reduced from £6 so still moneysaving
Paid £20 of £2 coins into the bank to be used for CC1 payment
Not a bad haul for one day
hope everyone's ok, hugs all round
