Wow Horace - you have a way of doing it! You are right about my statue - the college were on the phone this afternoon (i don't know what they teach them as the teacher sounded as if she couldn't be bothered either) so I said unless she was prepared to work there was no point in her coming in as the day will drag for her. I also said I could not tolerate someone who couldn't interact with my customers and when answered the phone to a big customer, rather than saying I was not available and could i call them back, the voice said "she's in the bog".
I am not a violent person, I am very calm and nice but goodness knows how close I came to locking her "in the bog" for the rest of the morning!

If you can H, post the recipe for the chicken pasta, it sounds yummy. I'm on Jamie Oliver's homemade lasagne tonight with a bottle of red wine to wash it down! Must remember and put an "in residence" sign on the bog!

    Hi all
The next event will be a garden party at Hogarths Hotel in Solihull:D Best dust off my hat.:rotfl:

Awww - I had my wedding reception there. :D They were doing the garden up at the time. Our goddaughter spent most of the afternoon talking to the numerous rabbits on the lawn.

The recipe is a tad difficult but here goes.

Bone a chicken fillet - use the knuckle to make a stock. cook the fillet in a frying pan with some olive oil...set aside then using the same pan saute some onions and mushrooms, set them aside in the same pan that you have cooked these lovely things in - add some flour and some stock (not much of either as you dont want to be able to taste the flour) return onions and mushrooms to the pan break up the chicken and add that, add seasoning and cream, somewhere you add lemons (he didnt say where) and then add the mix to some cooked pasta - fusili was nice but you can use any pasta. I know its vague but its what he told me - although I cannot remember there being any onions in it all.

Still running at least 3 times a week. Am now able to do half an hour - maybe 5 minutes of walking in there - but at the gym can see how far I have run and I am doing 3km walking/running in 30 minutes, not sure about around the streets as I am not sure just how far I have run, bought a pedometer but it is not working. Clothes are starting to fit me but not losing any weight.

    Hi Blue Monkey
There's a great website http://www.mapmyrun.com/ where you can map your run - (funny that).
Anyway, I used to always go round in the car to check the mileage, but this is far easier and you can check out new routes.
The only thing I find disappointing is I always think I've run further than I actually have!

If you've not lost weight but your clothes now fit, that's cos muscle weighs more than fat!
Keep it up, it gets easier. When I started, I couldn't go up the road without a near cardiac, now I run about 20 miles a week!
