Welcome to Nikki and Allison! :D

I didn't tick off half the things on my list for today so now I have three articles to write tomorrow to get back on track. Doesn't help that we have builders working on the conservatory for the next few weeks as the noise is all rather distracting!

Allison - I know what you mean about been able to organise other people and not yourself!!! Im so good at the former and so bad at the later!!

Although my invoice spreadsheet is always up to date as I like to see how much I'm owed!

    Welcome Nikki & Allison

Nikki - get your stamps onto your website pronto because they are not selling if they are just sitting there.

Allison - your job sounds fab, dashing here there and everywhere with musical types although I don't envy you as I know what those types are like having grown up around bands (parents managed an R&B band in the 70's). Sometimes its hard to organise yourself when you can organise other people - I need help on that score so the next on my shopping list is a filing cabinet to get my filing off the floor and into some sort of order (I hated filing when I was a PA:eek:).

Just writing up my To Do List for tomorrow:

Ring bank to order personal chequebook
See if I can get to Bescot Stadium without driving (my eyesight is too bad) if unable to ge there then it is contact the folks I booked with and try them again or cancel the event and get a refund.
Send off form for Chamber of Commerce (to get £100)
Read through share document and send off for shares with LLoyds TSB
Look for comfy office chair and filing cabinet (the filing cabinet won't be comfy it just needs to have 4 drawers and be foolscap size (I can use my freecycled crystalfiles then).
    Tidy up
Clear out car (it looks like a rubbish tip:eek:) so that its ready to be serviced on 12 June.
Deliver leaflets (free exercise and David Cameron may look favourably upon me).

Ok.. didn't get anything practical done 'so to speak' tonight except organise tomorrow...

I now know what I have to do.. and feel a lot better for it..

Doing things yourself means you only have yourself to blame when things aren't done.. so gave myself a kick up the backside tonight and now have tomorrow planned (scary as I don't 'do' planning..lol)

Some of these businesses sound so much fun.. but organising someone else... it's hard enough organising children and a house.. let alone other people and their bits and bobs.. so Allison I definately hold my hands up to you..

Website addy will be on my profile too in a mo :)

Cheers guys... here's to a productive day tomorrow

    Morning Everyone!

Been busy here the past few days thankfully, and i think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel where the bills are concerned, although I don't want to speak too soon!

Megs - do you not use your crystal ball to know what your clients expect? Or perhaps yours is a bit like mine and needs its battery changing!

Horace, you will be glad to know that I have told the college to find my "statue" somewhere else to stand.

I have also had a lightbulb moment, regarding a few personal things that have been going on and now I feel a huge weight off my shoulders! All thanks to MSE I have to say.

Hope everyone well & busy too - the weather is meant to be good here the next few days (has been ok-ish recently) so that should help me, but there is a big international event on nearby so most of my customers will be at that the next few days, but hopefully the yummy mummys will be in!

    T xx

Welcome to Nikki and Allison!

Was planning a day off today but decided against it. Glad I did as I just got an order from an old client who I contacted on the off chance he was looking for a new suit :)

Anyhoo must get on with work.

    Have a good day all

Of my planned jobs to do today, I have only managed to do the leafletting but I came away with some blank envelopes and was told to keep them as they may come in handy:j Volunteered to go out for an hour tomorrow at around lunchtime and again on Saturday morning (that will be for a couple of hours and lunch is included:j). It keeps me fit.

Best crack on as I have tons to do - have a good day all.

Thankyou for looking at the site MoneyMabel - it is appreciated that you took the time out..

My 'plan' includes this evening sitting and getting a whole heap of new ones online.. and so far the 'plan' is working... even if it was the paying bills part of the 'plan'

I also have to do once little one is sorted and in bed tonight, some custom stamp orders, some image swap requests and eat!! as I have a habit of forgetting that part..

Here's to that all staying on track and going to 'plan' lol

PurpleRoses... these things have a habit of turning out well.. good on you hun..
